Welcome to Summer Breeze, Emerald Isle! Summer Breeze is a private triplex home, featuring THREE separate living spaces, each with 3 bedrooms and 2 baths, a living room, dining area and full kitchen! This listing is for SUMMER BREEZE EAST, an upper-level unit with 3 BR and 2 BA, sleeping 7 total. See the bottom of this listing for all rental configurations available.

New to the rental market in 2022, Summer Breeze is located directly across from a beach walkway - you'll be on the soft sand in moments! Come home for lunch and snacks - don't worry about sand in the sandwiches! And there are alluring vistas of the crystal ocean from the roomy upper decks (East and West units). The slightly more petite lower unit on the East side, which we affectionately call "The Bungalow," offers ocean peeks, a shady patio and NO STAIRS to contend with!

All rooms - living areas AND bedrooms - in Summer Breeze have a view toward the ocean, and the decks will provide plenty of relaxation as the sun goes down! Kitchens are entirely supplied with all of the essential items (pots, pans, dishes, silverware, flatware, serving dishes, appliances) you'll need to whip up a great meal! Summer Breeze also offers high-speed Spectrum internet and TV (1 huge intelligent TV per unit).

A max. of 2 cars per units is allowed, so Summer Breeze East will have parking for 2 cars total, no exceptions.

Summer Breeze East (2830223) is an upper-level unit offering 3 BR / 2 BA, sleeping 7 people.
Summer Breeze West (2756822) is an upper-level unit offering 3 BR / 2 BA, sleeping 7 people.
The Bungalow at Summer Breeze (2821655) is a slightly more petite option with 3 BR / 2 BA, sleeping 6 people. This is a ground-level property with no steps to climb.
Summer Breeze East & The Bungalow (2756755) is a combination of the upper East unit plus the ground-level Bungalow. This offers a total of 6 BR / 4 BA (sleeping 13), and is a great option for bigger families traveling with elderly parents.
Summer Breeze, whole home (2535770) includes all three units, East, West and The Bungalow. This option offers a total of 9 BR / 6 BA, sleeping 20 people.

About the Area

Located in Emerald Isle, this vacation home is on the beach. Bogue Inlet Fishing Pier and Star Hill Golf Club are worth checking out if an activity is on the agenda, while those in the mood for shopping can visit Emerald Plantation and Salty Air Open Market. Flatwaters Paddling and Emerald Isle Adventures are also worth visiting. Be sure to check out the area's animals with activities such as game walks and birdwatching.

Sticking to a budget:

  • June, July, and August are the most expensive months in Emerald Isle. To get the best value, change your vacation dates to the Spring or Fall months. May, September, and October offer warmer temperatures, fewer crowds, and reduced traffic. Speaking of the off-season, don't overlook the holidays for a New Bern vacation! Who wouldn't love a holiday vacation on the coast? Thanksgiving, Christmas, and New Years are great times to gather with loved ones at the beach.
  • The earlier your group can book a vacation rental, the better your selection will be. The most desirable rental homes are reserved very early. Booking your rental 6-12 months before your travel dates is recommended. Christmas, Thanksgiving and New Years Eve are excellent times to search for and reserve your rental.
  • Property managers sometimes offer rate reductions for veterans and active duty military. Make sure to check with your host or property manager to see if special discounts are available for your group before you book.
  • Management companies and individual rental owners frequently offer renters an option to add vacation insurance.   • Double-check the rental property to make sure that you've packed everything at departure. Re-check bathrooms, garages, and back yards for hidden belongings. Remove everything from the refrigerator and take any leftovers home.
  • Inspect the property a final time and keep an eye out for damage. We advise inspecting the property with the property manager whenever you can (often this isn't possible). If the manager isn't available, remember to take photographs of the property to record its condition at check-out.
  • Leave feedback! Hosts rely on excellent reviews to compel new reservations. They'll be much obliged for your review.
