Want the RV experience but don’t have an RV? That's not a problem! If you are considering purchasing an RV and want to try out RV living without buying one, we have added an RV to our vacation units. It is a 2022, 28-foot 5th Wheel with two slides that we are now renting as a Vacation Rental. It has a queen-sized bed with plenty of storage space for all your belongings, a full kitchen and bath, a Intelligent TV, a fireplace in the living room and bedroom, and a dining area/living room area. The RV sleeps two comfortably, but the dining room booths convert to a double bed.
The RV is close to the Intracoastal Waterway and a short distance to Historic Beaufort, Havelock, Newport, Morehead City, and Atlantic Beach. Bring your boat, you have complimentary access to the boat ramp and fishing pier. We have boats to rent for ½ and a full day on-site. We can hook (no pun intended) you up with a charter boat if you want to fish offshore. Downtown Beaufort has an array of phenomenal stores and striking eateries. When you book, we will give you a map of the area, coupons, and a special offer when you return!

Vacation rental booking tips and tricks:
Sticking to a rental budget:
- Summer is the most expensive season in Beaufort. Reserve your vacation home in the Fall or Spring shoulder seasons to get the benefit of warm weather while saving money and avoiding crowds.
- Reserve your vacation home as soon as possible. Rental schedules generally become available twelve months in advance (or in September just after Summertime ends). Many groups reserve their Summer vacations during holiday gatherings. Reserve before these holidays for best selection.
- Active Duty and veterans of the US Armed forces may qualify for special discounts. Be sure to ask your prospective vacation rental company or host whether your vacationing group qualifies for a special rate.
- Property management companies often offer renters an option to buy vacation insurance protection. Trip insurance, which commonly will cost anywhere between 1% - 5% of the booking price, offers visitors reimbursement of their vacation costs for missed days as a result of medical-related catastrophes or weather disasters, as well as evacuation charges, such as an unanticipated hotel stay or additional gas expenses. Trip insurance can be a a life-saver if the unforeseen happens. Ask your host for program terms and fees.
- Many rental management companies supply New Bern area visitor guide magazines which include special offers, either offered independently by local businesses, or through a relationship between the property management company and the business itself. You can also find visitors guide and coupon books at local gas stations and shopping centers.
Finding the best vacation home in the New Bern area:
- Choose your dates and budget.
- Decide how many bedrooms and the configuration your family requires. Charming RV in Fantastic Beaufort with AC, WiFi has 1 bedrooms and 1 bathrooms. If you need a larger or smaller rental, use our New Bern rentals search.
- Precise details about bedrooms and bed sizes & counts is almost always accessible on booking pages. Otherwise, call the property owner before you reserve the vacation property. Note that most property listings specify maximum guest capacity, which usually includes pull-out couches and bunk beds.
- If there's a specific New Bern attraction you are enamored with, look for properties that are either near by, or those that cater especially to your desires.
- Suitable accessibility amenities can make or break a vacation for the less-mobile. Remember to confirm all necessary amenities are included before booking
- Are you traveling with furry, four-legged family members? Many vacation homes allow animals, but guidelines and restrictions apply. Allowable pet type, breed, and size are often limited. Make sure to ask before booking, and study your agreement thoroughly! Additional pet fees or charges applied to your invoice.
Have a great stay:
- Take a copy of the host's phone number and check in/check out procedures for your rental.
- Note any issues with the property during check in, and immediately contact the owner. We specifically recommend e-mails and text messages, as they usually contain time stamps that can be beneficial if damages are assessed.
- Hosts are there to help! Feel free to ask questions before, during, or after your stay.
- Be a good neighbor! You wouldn't like unpleasant visitors disrupting your life at home. Use the golden rule for common sense. Happy residents may even recommend great beaches and places you would have not otherwise known!
- Speaking of neighbors... Ask a local! Residents can often help. Who better to ask where to go for the best drinks, have a great night out, or the best spots for bird watching?
- Ensure you protect the owner (and your stuff!) by locking the rental while you are away, just like you would back home.
- Don't leave anything behind! Just before departing, take a walk through the rental to make sure you've collected all personal items. Remember to check closets, dressers, garages, and bathrooms for hidden belongings. Clean the refrigerator and take any leftovers home.
- Document the condition of the property at check-out. We recommend taking a video during your final walk-through.
- Did your family have a wonderful stay? Most vacation rental websites make it easy for customers to provide comments. If your rental property and/or host was wonderful, they would love to hear it. If anything was out of order and they failed to correct it in a reasonable manner, or if the vacation rental wasn't described correctly, you'll want to make a note as part of your review.
