Kitchen with granite countertops and dishwasher. Incredible sunrise/sunset vistas from the furnished, covered balcony. Directly across from Publix and Food Lion grocery stores.

  • Summer months are high season in Emerald Isle. Reserving a rental home in Fall or Spring is our best tip for saving money on your vacation home. Rental rates are lower, and you'll find a better selection of acceptable properties. Speaking of the off-season, don't overlook the holidays for a New Bern vacation! Who wouldn't love a holiday vacation on the coast? Christmas, Thanksgiving, and New Years Eve are great times to gather with friends and family at the beach.
  • Reserve your vacation home as soon as possible. Rental schedules often open twelve months in advance (or in September just after the Summer season ends). Many families book their Summer vacation rentals during Christmas and Thanksgiving gatherings. Reserve before these holidays for best selection.
  • Some hosts offer discounts for active duty military and veterans. Remember to ask your property manager if special offers are available for your group before you book.
  • Management companies and individual rental owners often offer their guests an option to add vacation insurance.   • Please make sure to walk through the rental a final time and look for any damage. We advise walking through with the property manager whenever possible. If the property manager isn't available, take video and pictures of the property to record its condition at check-out.
  • Did your family have a terrific stay? Most rental websites make it easy for guests to provide comments. If your property and/or property manager was great, they always love to hear your praise.
