Welcome to our ''5 Star'' energy rated vacation home. This home was constructed with energy efficiency and fun in mind. ''ISLAND TIME'' is located about a mile from town along Coast Guard Rd. The new bicycle path is right outside of our Dolphin Ridge development. It's a great addition to EI. You can rent a bicycle and discover the entire island or you can relax and savor the private pool. We also have our own personal golf cart. It makes getting to the beach a lot of fun. If you prefer a leisurely walk to the beach; it is only 4 short blocks. Along the way you may want to pause and gaze at one of the various ponds overflowing with wildlife. As you will discover, there are many bespoke features that make this home a state of the art, environmentally friendly, ideal family vacation home.

About the Area

Located in Emerald Isle, this cottage is in the city center and near the beach. Emerald Forest Golf and Bogue Inlet Fishing Pier are worth checking out if an activity is on the agenda, while those in the mood for shopping can visit Emerald Plantation and Salty Air Open Market. Traveling with kids? Consider Salty Pirate Water Park, or check out an event or a game at Cougar Stadium. Be sure to check out the area's animals with activities such as game walks and birdwatching.

  • Reserve your vacation home as early as possible. Rental schedules often become available twelve months in advance (or in September just after Summertime ends). Many groups reserve their Summer rentals during holiday gatherings. Reserve before these holidays for best selection.
  • Active Duty and veterans of the US Armed forces may be qualified for special discounts. Be sure to ask your prospective property management company or host whether your group qualifies for a special promotion or discount.

  • At departure, complete a walk-through to make sure you have not forget any personal items. Re-check bathrooms, dressers, and closets for hidden items. Remove everything from the refrigerator and take or dispose of leftovers.
  • Go through the rental a final time and keep an eye out for any damage. We recommend walking through with the host whenever you can. If the property manager isn't available, remember to take pictures of the rental to record its condition.
