Booking the best Atlantic Beach rental home experience:
How to get the best value:
- Booking your vacation rental in the Fall or Spring shoulder seasons is a great way to save on your vacation. Rental rates are lower, and you'll find a larger selection of acceptable homes.
- The earlier you can reserve a home, the better your selection will be. The best rental properties are booked early. Reserving your rental home six to twelve months before your vacation dates is recommended. Christmas, Thanksgiving and New Years Eve are excellent times to search for and reserve your rental property.
- Property management companies sometimes offer discounts or promotional rates for veterans. It's always a good idea to check with your property manager to see if rate reductions are available for your group.
- Property managers typically offer guests an option to add trip insurance protection. Trip insurance, which costs 1% - 5% of the base booking price, offers visitors reimbursement of their vacation costs for missed trip time as a result of medical-related catastrophes or weather disasters, as well as ensuing additional evacuation costs or charges, such as an unexpected hotel overnight or extra fuel expenses. Trip insurance is definitely a welcome relief if the unforeseen happens. Ask your property manager for more information.
- Many management companies and vacation rental houses supply New Bern area travel guide magazines which will include money-saving deals, either offered independently by local companies, or by way of a relationship between the property management company and the business itself. You can also find New Bern visitors guide and coupon books at local gas stations and shopping centers.
Use filters to narrow your search:
- Select a designated group leader, select your dates, and choose a max budget.
- Note the number beds and the configuration your group requires. Newly Renovated-Amazing 360 views of the Atlantic Ocean and Sound -with Pool. has 4 bedrooms and 3 bathrooms. If you need a larger or smaller rental, use our New Bern rental home search.
- Precise descriptions of bedrooms and bed counts & types is regularly accessible on booking pages. If they are not listed, email or call the host before you reserve the vacation home. Note that most properties list the maximum guest capacity, which frequently includes pull out couches in living rooms.
- If there's an individual New Bern destination you long to visit, search for rentals that are either near by, or those that cater especially to your desires.
- Appropriate accessibility amenities can make or break a vacation for persons with a disability. Make certain to ask about wheel chair entry, pool lifts and specialized equipment needs.
- Some properties allow pets, and others don't. Acceptable types of dog or cat, weight and breeds may be restricted, and added charges may apply. Ask the property management company about allowable pet guidelines before booking.
During your stay:
- Be sure you get the owner's phone number and entry/exit procedures for your . Store the host's information in your smartphone and wallet.
- During check-in, record any issues with the property and immediately alert the owner. Record all correspondence in case a dispute arises.
- Hosts are great sources of help! Feel free to ask any questions during your stay.
- Respect your neighbors. Often times, nearby homes are occupied by local residents. Respecting late-night quiet hours and parking rules is the right thing to do.
- Don't forget to... Ask a local resident! Local residents can usually help. Who better to ask where to get the best seafood, have a great night out, or the best spots for fine dining?
- Lock your rental while you are out. Protect the owner's property and your things!
- Don't leave anything behind! Just before departing, walk through the rental to make sure you've collected all personal belongings. Remember to check dressers, closets, and bathrooms for hidden treasure. Clean out the refrigerator and take any leftovers home.
- Please make sure to walk through the rental one final time and keep an eye out for damages to contents or the property itself. We advise walking through with the host whenever you can (often this isn't possible). If the host isn't available, take photographs of the property to record its condition at check-out.
- After your trip, leave a review! Hosts rely on good feedback to compel future bookings. They'll be grateful for your review. Alternatively, if something wasn't as described, other vacationers will will be grateful for your experience find their best vacation rental. Please be objective. If something fell short of expectations, consider whether the owner had any control over the issue, and if so, whether they responded expeditiously to fix it.
