Appreciate gorgeous sunsets and watch the sailboats come and go to the Neuse from one of the three balconies in this refreshed 3BR/3BA townhome. This peaceful community on the marina is filled with walking trails and lakes so you can experience birdwatching, deer crossings, fishing and turtle ponds. In just a short 2 min. walk, you can savor access to indoor and outdoor pools, bicycle and kayak units, mini golf, tennis and basketball--all available at the close by club. For the golfers, you can book a tee time at the Harbour Pointe Golf Club--5 mins. away!

You can stay in and appreciate the community, or drive 10 mins. to historic New Bern--a city dating back to 1710 and the first capital of North Carolina. Tour Tryon Palace, originally call Governor's Palace, which was the official residence and administrative headquarters of the British governors of North Carolina from 1770 to 1775. Strategies to get the very best rental home experience:

Sticking to your spending budget:

  • The sooner your group can book a rental home, the easier your search will be. The best rental homes are booked early. Reserving your rental property up to 12 months before your travel dates is recommended. Winter holidays are excellent times to search for and book your vacation rental.
  • Summer time is high season in New Bern. To book the best rental within your budget, we highly recommend booking in the Fall or Spring shoulder seasons. You'll enjoy lower rental rates, greater selection, beautiful weather and the absence of giant crowds at the beach and popular New Bern attractions. Many vacationers use this strategy to reserve larger homes, or to book an oceanfront rental that would otherwise be unavailable or unaffordable during the Summer. Speaking of the off-season, don't overlook Winter holidays for a New Bern vacation! Who wouldn't love a holiday vacation on the coast? Christmas, Thanksgiving, and New Years Eve are great times to gather with loved ones at your favorite beach.
  • Active Duty and veterans of the US Armed forces may be qualified for special discounts. Be sure to ask your prospective vacation rental company or host if your vacationing group qualifies for a special rate.
  • Management companies and individual rental owners usually offer guests an option to obtain vacation insurance protection. Trip insurance, which generally costs anywhere between 1% - 5% of the reservation price, offers visitors reimbursement of costs for missed time as a result of personal medical-related catastrophes or weather disasters, as well as hurricane evacuation costs, such as an unanticipated hotel or extra gasoline expenses. Trip insurance is definitely a welcome relief if the unforeseen happens. Ask the property owner for specifics.
  • Often, rental management companies and vacation rental houses supply New Bern area visitor guides that include special deals, either offered independently by local companies, or through a relationship between the management company and the business itself. You can also find New Bern area magazine and coupon books at local shops and grocery stores.

Planning, selecting, and booking the perfectvacation home:

  • Select a designated group leader, choose your vacation dates, and select a spending budget.
  • Decide how many bedrooms and the configuration your family needs. 3BR\/3BA Updated Townhome on the Marina — 3 decks and great sunsets! has 3 bedrooms and 3 bathrooms.
  • Specific information about bedrooms and bed counts is generally accessible online. Otherwise, email the property management company before you book the vacation property. Note that most listings specify maximum guest capacity, which often includes sofa beds in living rooms. You will need to determine what is right for your family.
  • Are you bringing the family pet? Many vacation homes allow animals, but guidelines and restrictions apply. Allowable pet type, breed, and size are often limited. Make sure to ask before booking, and study your agreement thoroughly! Pet fees or charges could be applied to your contract.
  • If there's a specific New Bern destination you are enamored with, look for homes that are either near by, or those that cater to your desires.
  • Proper accessibility amenities can make or ruin a vacation for guests that require the use of a wheelchair. Remember to confirm all necessary amenities are available before reserving a rental

Tips to have a terrific stay:

  • Get the property manager's contact number and arrival/departure procedures for your rental property. Put the manager's contact information in your smartphone and wallet.
  • Ask questions. You may want instructions for a hot tub, elevator or appliance. Contact your property manager. They are there to help! A brief telephone call prevents quite a few difficulties.
  • Keep your rental home locked while you are out! Don't let burglars spoil your trip.
  • To ensure that damages aren't linked to your visit, make note of any problem areas during check in. E-mail the property manager immediately to report your findings. If there is a dispute about legal responsibility later, having a record of issues and contact attempts will be very helpful.
  • Be a good neighbor! You wouldn't like loud visitors disrupting your peaceful home life. Employ the golden rule for common sense. If they like you, locals might even recommend great beaches and places you would have never otherwise known!
  • Don't forget to... Ask a local resident! Residents can often help. Who better to ask where to book the best tours, have a great night out, or the best spots for fine dining?
  • On check-out day, complete a walk-through to make sure you did not forget anything. Check bathrooms, dressers, and closets for hidden treasure. Clean out the refrigerator and take or dispose of leftovers.
  • Document the condition of the property at check-out. We recommend taking a video during your final walk-through.
  • Remember to leave a review! Property managers rely on great ratings to propel future reservations. They'll be grateful for your review. Alternatively, if something went wrong, other vacationers will will be grateful for your experience find their best rental home. Please be fair with your feedback If something fell short of expectations, consider whether the host had any control over the issue, and if so, whether they responded quickly to fix it.
