This handsome ocean side home, located in Atlantic Beach, features 2 bedrooms, 1 bath, with a warm beach bungalow feel, refreshed kitchen, and a enormous patio to view the sunsets. The Saltbox has plenty of room to sleep your guests; with 2 queen beds, 1 twin bed, and 1 set of bunk beds.



*Please note, that dogs are allowed on the property with an additional pet fee. Final booking price does not reflect pet fee. Spectrum Rental Properties must be contacted directly to add this fee onto your booking. Pet costs are: $100+tax for one and $200+tax for two. All pet costs are non-returnable. Failure to let us know about your pet(s) could result in a $700 fine.

Located in Atlantic Beach, this vacation home is near the beach. When to visit & When to book:

  • Book your vacation rental as early as possible. Rental schedules often become available a year in advance (or in September just after the Summer season ends). Many families reserve their Summer rental homes during holiday get-togethers. Reserve before these holidays for best selection.
  • June, July, and August are the most expensive months in the New Bern area. Booking a rental in Fall or Spring is our favorite way to save money on your vacation rental. Rates are lower, and you'll find a larger selection of desirable homes. Speaking of the off-season, don't overlook Winter holidays for a New Bern vacation! Who wouldn't love a holiday vacation near the ocean? Thanksgiving, Christmas, and New Years are great times to gather with friends and family at the beach.
  • Owners sometimes offer discounts for veterans and active duty military. Make sure to check with your property manager to see if discounts are available for your group.
  • Management companies and individual rental owners typically offer their guests an option to buy trip insurance protection. Trip insurance, which commonly costs anywhere between 1% - 5% of the reservation price, offers visitors reimbursement of their vacation costs for any days missed as a result of medical-related issues or weather disasters, as well as evacuation charges, such as an unanticipated hotel overnight or extra gasoline expenses.
