Located in an oceanfront complex with a swimming pool, clubhouse, pickle ball/tennis courts, walkway to beach and outside shower all in a convenient location on the island.

Sound of the Sea 123 East is an Oceanfront townhouse with 4 Bedrooms and 2 1/2 Baths. There are three living levels and ocean vistas from mid and top levels. Ground Level: Queen Bedroom with private patio access to the beach, full bath. Bedroom #2 has a Double Bed and Twin Bunk set. Level One: Living Area with a Flat Screen Color Cable TV. Dining Area. Kitchen/Bar area with microwave & dishwasher, 1/2 bathroom. There is a Covered Deck with furnishings off living on this level. Level Two: Bedroom with King bed, private deck with furnishings and ocean vistas! Bedroom with Queen Bed & Twin Bunk Set (in same room). Shared Bath.

Additional Conveniences Flat Screen TVs, cable, Central heat & air, washer/dryer, deck furnishings includes table & chairs.

No Smoking in or on property, Animals Accepted (up to two modest or medium dogs stay complimentary, no enormous dogs, no cats).

PARKING INFORMATION: Each reservation will receive 2 Gate Cards and 2 Parking Passes (2 cars max). Sound of the Sea does not have overflow parking. ***Lost Gate Card Fee is $75, Lost Parking Pass Fee is $50.***

Reminder: The modest complex pool will reopen in the spring for guest use!

Please Note: Management Company reserves the right to deny stays less than 7 nights, if the arrival date is more than 30 days out from the booking date. Stays less than 7 nights, with an arrival date between mid-April to mid-October, are stringently prohibited unless approved by management.

Located in Emerald Isle, this condo is by the ocean. Emerald Plantation and Salty Air Open Market are worth checking out if shopping is on the agenda, while those wishing to experience the area's natural beauty can explore Croatan National Forest and Theodore Roosevelt Natural Area. You'll enjoy lower rental rates, greater selection, warm weather and the absence of giant crowds at popular New Bern attractions and restaurants. Many vacationers use this strategy to find larger homes within budget, or to reserve an oceanfront vacation rental that would otherwise be unavailable or unaffordable during the high season.
  • Book your rental as soon as possible. Rental schedules generally become available a year in advance (or in September just after the Summer season ends). Many families book their Summer vacation rentals during Winter holiday get-togethers. Reserve before these holidays for best selection.
  • Some hosts offer discounts for veterans and active duty military. It's always a good idea to check with your property manager to see if rate reductions are available for your family before you book.
  • Property managers often offer guests an option to obtain trip insurance.
