The Mulberry Street Cottage is our newest unit, and is five blocks from the downtown Beaufort waterfront. This two bedroom/two bathroom, completely refreshed bungalow, rivals our "Bungalow" (property #1257580), "Carriage House" (property #339427), and "Hideaway"(property #3777505ha).

The Mulberry Street Cottage has a handsome open living room with a flat screen TV. The master bedroom has a king bed, enormous flat screen TV, and full bath. The guest bedroom has a queen bed and connects to the second full bathroom. Extensive, refreshed kitchen with stainless farmhouse sink, quartz countertops and bar.

Spend time in the sunroom, outside on the sizable back deck, or on the front porch on the rocking chairs. There is a Weber grille for your use on the back deck.

Bikes are available for your use.

About the Area

Located in Beaufort, this cottage is in the city center and on the waterfront. Beaufort Historic Site and Core Creek Bridge are local landmarks, and the area's natural beauty can be seen at Rachel Carson Reserve and Hoop Pole Creek Nature Trail. North Carolina Maritime Museum and Mount Maker Charters are also worth visiting.

Get the best rental value:

  • Book your vacation home as soon as possible. Rental schedules generally become available twelve months in advance (or in September just after Summertime ends). Many groups reserve their Summer vacation rentals during Thanksgiving, Christmas, and New Years Eve get-togethers. Book before these holidays for best selection.
  • To get the best value, change your family's New Bern vacation week to the Spring or Fall shoulder seasons. May, September, and even October offer excellent temperatures, fewer crowds, and greatly reduced traffic.   • Inspect the property one final time and scan for damage. We suggest walking through with the property manager whenever you can (often this isn't possible). If the property manager is not available, ensure that you take video of the property to record its condition.
  • After your trip, leave feedback! Hosts rely on great reviews to stimulate more reservations. They'll be much obliged for your review. Alternatively, if something went wrong, other vacationing families will be thankful you shared your experience and help them have the best future vacation.
