3 Bedroom 2 Bath. Sleeps 7. Must be Age 25 or > to rent. Vaulted ceilings in Great Room. Both showers refreshed Jan. 2025 with gorgeous tile throughout. Other remodeling was finished in 2019-2020 with all New Kitchen appliances and granite countertops. Other upgrades finished throughout including HVAC & hot water heater. New stacked washer & dryer installed in 2021. Living Room with comfortable sectional couch and La-Z-Boy recliner added. Master bedroom with King size bed, Bedroom#2 with Queen size bed and Bedroom#3 with Full/Twin Bunk. Covered Deck with side Ocean view. Polywood Deck Furnishings with Bar Table and Chairs. Exterior seating for 7. Great place to hang out and appreciate the ocean view and relax. Elevators. Covered Garage parking (Only two cars allowed). Year-Round Outdoor Heated Oceanfront pool/hot tub. Soundside pool and hot tub with pretty view of sound. Both pools have poolside bathrooms. There is a very Nice Fishing Pier with Giant covered Hut and plenty of seating for appreciating the birds and sunset. Unwind in chairs while enjoying the calming grassy area overlooking the Sound. How to get the best rental value:

  • Reserve your rental as early as possible. Rental schedules generally open 12 months in advance (or in September just after Summertime ends). Many families reserve their Summer rental homes during Thanksgiving and Christmas get-togethers. Reserve before these holidays for best selection.
  • Summer time is high season in the New Bern area. To book the best rental for your budget, we strongly suggest reserving in the Fall or Spring shoulder seasons. You'll benefit from lower rates, better selection, beautiful weather and the absence of large crowds at New Bern restaurants, beaches, and activities. Many vacationers use this strategy to reserve larger homes, or to book an oceanfront rental that would otherwise be unaffordable during the Summer months. Speaking of the off-season, don't overlook Winter holidays for a New Bern vacation! Who wouldn't love a holiday vacation on the coast? Thanksgiving and Christmas are great times to gather with friends and family at the beach.
  • Owners sometimes offer special rates for veterans. It's always a good idea to check with your host or property manager to see if discounts are available for your family.
  • Property managers usually offer their guests an option to purchase trip insurance. Trip insurance, which usually will cost between 1% - 5% of the base booking price, offers visitors reimbursement of their vacation costs for missed days as a result of personal medical-related emergencies or weather, as well as ensuing additional evacuation costs, such as an unexpected hotel or extra gas expenses. Trip insurance might be a a welcome relief if the unforeseen happens. Ask your property manager for details.
  • Look for your local visitors guide when you arrive at the rental property. If your rental doesn't have one, you can find them at local grocery stores and visitor centers. In addition to great local information, travel guides have offers and deals for local restaurants, attractions, and tours.

  • Specific information regarding bedrooms and bed counts & types is regularly available online. If they are not listed, email the property owner before you book the property. Note that most properties list maximum guest capacity, which usually includes sofa beds in living rooms.
  • If your group is vacationing with pets, you'll need to find a pet-friendly property. Ask for information on breed, weight, and type restrictions. Often, hosts charge pet deposits and fees.
  • Are you visiting for a single event? Use a map search to browse nearby properties.
  • Appropriate accessibility amenities can make or ruin a vacation for guests that require the use of a wheelchair. Confirm all required amenities are available before reserving a rental.

  • Get the property manager's phone number and check in/check out procedures for your rental property. Put the manager's information in your smartphone.
  • Hosts are available to help! Don't be shy to ask any questions before, during, or after your stay.
  • Keep your rental home locked while you're out! Don't let thieves ruin your holiday.
  • Make a record of any issues with the property during check in, and immediately e-mail them to the host. We specifically recommend texts and e-mails, as they usually contain built-in time stamps that are valuable if a dispute arises.
  • Be a good neighbor! You wouldn't like obnoxious visitors disrupting your peaceful neighborhood. Use the golden rule for best judgement. If they like you, locals might even recommend great restaurants and places you would have not otherwise known!
  • Speaking of neighbors... Ask a local! Residents can usually help. Who better to ask where to launch your kayaks, have a great night out, or the best spots for shopping?
  • At departure, take a walk-through to confirm you haven't forget any personal items. Check dressers, closets, and bathrooms for hidden treasure. Remove everything from the refrigerator and take or dispose of leftovers.
  • Walk through the rental a final time and scan for damages to contents or the property itself. We advise walking through with the host whenever you can. If the property manager is not available, ensure that you take pictures of the property to record its condition at check-out.
  • Did your family have a terrific stay? Most vacation rental websites make it easy for vacationers to provide feedback. If your rental property and/or host was great, they would love to hear about it. If anything was wrong and they failed to fix it within reason, or if the vacation rental wasn't as described, you'll want to make a note as part of your feedback.
