Strategies to get the best vacation property experience:

Sticking to your spending budget:

  • June, July, and August are high season in Atlantic Beach. To get the most suitable vacation home within budget, we suggest reserving in Fall or Spring months. You'll benefit from lower rental rates, greater selection, gorgeous weather and the absence of giant crowds at New Bern restaurants, tours, and activities. Many vacationers use this method to reserve larger homes, or to reserve a beach front rental that would otherwise be unavailable or unaffordable during the high season. Speaking of the off-season, don't overlook Winter holidays for a New Bern vacation! Who wouldn't love a holiday vacation near the ocean? Thanksgiving and Christmas are great times to gather with loved ones at the beach.
  • Reserve your vacation home as early as possible. Rental schedules usually open twelve months in advance (or in September just after Summer ends). Many groups book their Summer vacation rentals during Christmas and Thanksgiving gatherings. Reserve before these holidays for best selection.
  • Property managers sometimes offer discounts for veterans. Ask your property manager if rate reductions are available for your family.
  • Management companies and individual rental owners typically offer guests an option to buy trip insurance protection. Trip insurance, which generally will cost between 1% - 5% of the stay price, offers visitors reimbursement of costs for missed days as a result of medical-related catastrophes or weather, as well as ensuing additional evacuation charges, such as an unanticipated hotel or extra gasoline expenses. Trip insurance can be a a welcome relief if the unforeseen occurs. Ask your property manager for details.
  • Many rental management companies supply New Bern area visitors guides that include money-saving offers, either offered independently by local companies, or through a relationship with the management company and the business itself. You can also find New Bern visitors guide magazine and coupon books at local gas stations and shopping centers.

Finding the perfect vacation rental in Atlantic Beach:

  • Start by having your group select a vacation week and a spending budget.
  • Note the number beds and the bed configuration you need. Crystal Coast Condo - Full Amenities! has 2 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms.
  • Specific information about bedrooms and bed types is generally accessible online. Otherwise, email the property manager before you reserve the vacation property. Remember that most property listings specify maximum guest capacity, which typically includes pull-out couches and bunk beds.
  • If there's an individual New Bern destination you simply love, search for homes that are either near by, or those that cater to your requirements.
  • Proper accessibility amenities can make or ruin a vacation for the less-mobile. Confirm all required amenities are available before reserving a rental.
  • If your family is bringing pets, you will need a pet-friendly vacation rental. Request specifics on breed, size, and type requirements. Be aware that some property managers charge additional pet fees.

Considerations for your stay:

  • Put the owner's contact information in your smartphone and wallet.
  • To make sure that no damages are attributed to your stay, record any problem areas during check in. Speak to the host right away to relay any pre-existing damages. If there is a dispute about legal responsibility later, having the recorded concerns and contact attempts will be very helpful.
  • Ask questions. You may want instructions for a fireplace, stereo or WIFI setup. Contact your property manager. They are there to help! A brief telephone call can prevent lots of concerns.
  • Be respectful of your neighbors. Often, surrounding homes are filled by local residents. Respecting noise limits and parking policies can make a stay significantly more pleasurable.
  • Don't forget to... Ask a local! Neighbors can usually help you find the best spots in town. Who better to ask where to see a beautiful sunrise or sunset, have a great night on the town, or the best spots for fishing?
  • Lock your vacation home while you are out and about. Keep your property safe!
  • Re-check every room of the property to confirm that you've packed all of your belongings on check-out day. Check closets, dressers, garages, and bathrooms for hidden belongings. Remove everything from the refrigerator and take or dispose of leftovers.
  • Record a video to document the condition of the property.
  • Leave feedback! Property owners rely on great ratings to drive new reservations. They'll be much obliged for your review. Alternatively, if something went wrong, other vacationing families will appreciate that you share your experience and help them have the best future vacation. Please be fair with your feedback If something fell short of expectations, consider whether the owner had any control over the issue, and if so, whether they responded reasonably to remedy it.
