Welcome to A Wizards Wynd! Savor handsome ocean vistas at this 4 Bedroom, 2 Bath, Oceanview home with private pool, located on a peaceful cul-de-sac,1 block from The Point in Emerald Isle! This handsome home offers a floor-plan with the main living area including living room with games and board games for rainy day activities, dining area and completely equipped kitchen featuring granite countertops and stainless appliances including a Keurig coffee maker, blender, waffle maker and slow cooker. Appreciate the convenience of ceiling fans and hard surface floor throughout. Downstairs, Bedroom #1 has a King Bed and TV. Upstairs, Bedroom #2 has a King Bed, TV, and private upper deck with serene ocean vistas and a table and chairs; Bedroom #3 has a Queen Bed and TV; and Bedroom #4 has 2 Twin Beds and TV. A full bathroom is located on each level.

Step out on the roomy walk-around lower covered deck area complete with furnishings including Adirondack chairs to appreciate the striking palm trees, ocean breeze and sunny oceanside locale. Enjoy the side yard patio, Adirondack chairs, Propane Fire Pit table, and Yard games including Corn Hole, Yard Yahtzee, and Ladder Golf included.

5 Roku TVs, Blu-Ray Player, DVD Player, Central Air/Heat. Washer/Dryer. Covered Deck with Furnishings. Indoor Fireplace not to be used. Enclosed outside shower with hot and cold water. Private saltwater pool (seasonal availability) also includes poolside dining patio table with chairs and umbrella as well as poolside chairs and loungers. Wooded walk way to the beach at end of Cul de Sac. Beach carts and sand toys supplied. Bicycle path at the end of the street.

(1) Guests must pay in full when booking through Vacation Rental By Owner. The card supplied at the time of booking will be charged for the total. Guest will receive follow up communications including Management Company’s Vacation Rental Agreement for e-signature which is required for all stays.
(2) Management Company reserves the right to deny stays less than 7 nights, if the arrival date is more than 30 days out from the booking date. Stays less than 7 nights, with an arrival date between mid-April to mid-October, are stringently prohibited unless approved by management.

Sticking to your budget:

  • The sooner your group can book a vacation home, the better your selection will be. The most desirable rental homes are booked very early. Reserving your rental home six - twelve months before your travel dates is recommended. Winter holidays are excellent times to plan and reserve your vacation home.
  • Reserving a rental home in Spring or Fall is our best tip for saving money on your rental home. Rental rates are lower, and you'll find a better selection of acceptable homes. Speaking of the off-season, don't overlook Winter holidays for a New Bern vacation! Who wouldn't love a holiday vacation near the ocean? Thanksgiving and Christmas are great times to gather with friends and family at the beach.
  • Veterans and Active Duty Military members may qualify for special discounts. Be sure to ask your prospective vacation rental company or host if your group qualifies for a reduced rate.
  • Property management companies often offer renters an option to add vacation insurance protection. Trip insurance, which will generally cost anywhere between 1% - 5% of the booking price, offers visitors reimbursement of their vacation costs for any days missed as a result of medical-related emergencies or weather disasters, as well as hurricane evacuation costs or charges, such as an unanticipated hotel overnight or extra fuel expenses. Trip insurance might be a a life-saver if the unforeseen occurs. Ask the property owner for program terms and fees.
  • Find a copy of your local New Bern visitors guide when you check-in. If your rental property doesn't have one, you can find them at local shops and visitor centers. In addition to great information, visitor guides have money saving offers on nearby attractions, tours, restaurants, and shops.

  • Don't leave anything behind! Just before you drive away, take a walk through the property to make sure you've collected all personal items. Re-check closets, dressers, garages, and bathrooms for hidden treasure. Clean out the refrigerator and take any leftovers home.
  • Go through the rental a final time and look for any damage. We suggest inspecting the property with the host whenever you can (often this isn't possible). If the manager isn't available, remember to take video of the rental to record its condition at check-out.
  • Did your family have a fantastic vacation? Most rental home management companies make it easy for guests to provide reviews. If your property and/or host was terrific, they will likely appreciate your kind words. If anything was inoperable and they failed to address it in a reasonable manner, or if the vacation rental wasn't described correctly, you'll want to make it a point as part of your feedback.
