Located at the highly sought after area of the island called the Point.

We completely made over both sides of this property in 2018 including a new saltwater pool (shared between east and west sides of duplex), quartz counter tops, linens, appliances, paint, and floor throughout. SEE the NEW PHOTOS!

You will adore the private walkway to the beach, deck overlooking a private pool (shared by both sides of duplex), ceiling fans in every room, covered parking, Wi-Fi, and Intelligent TVs in every room.

NEWLY ADDED enclosed outdoor shower with hot and cold water and NEW area to play cornhole. (Added in 2021)

Spend your days on the biggest section of the beach right out your door or relax in the private pool for a change before retiring into the roomy and beachy amenities that the “Rustic Peacock” has to offer.

Being at the Point offers the option to play on the beach picking up shells or walk around the inlet and discover the Sound.

Emerald Isle faces south so you have unobstructed vistas of the SUNRISE AND SUNSET from your upper and lower decks!

Watching dolphins swim and play in the surf is another favorite pastime.

Located on the beach, this vacation home is in The Point, a neighborhood in Emerald Isle. Emerald Forest Golf and Bogue Inlet Fishing Pier are worth checking out if an activity is on the agenda, while those wishing to experience the area's natural beauty can explore Croatan National Forest and Theodore Roosevelt Natural Area.   • The earlier you can reserve a vacation rental, the better your selection will be. The best rental homes are reserved very early. Booking your vacation home six to twelve months before your vacation is recommended. Holidays such as Christmas and Thanksgiving are excellent times to search for and reserve your rental home.
  • To get the largest rental within budget, we highly recommend reserving in Spring or Fall. You'll enjoy lower rates, greater selection, gorgeous weather and the absence of giant crowds at New Bern restaurants, beaches, and activities. Speaking of the off-season, don't overlook Winter holidays for a New Bern vacation! Who wouldn't love a holiday vacation on the coast? Thanksgiving and Christmas are great times to gather with family and friends at your favorite beach.
  • Owners sometimes offer special rates for veterans and active duty military. Remember to ask your host or property manager if special offers are available for your family.
  • Property managers usually offer renters an option to obtain trip insurance.   • Inspect the property a final time and keep an eye out for any damage. We recommend walking through with the property manager whenever you can (often this isn't possible). If the manager is not available, ensure that you take pictures of the rental to record its condition.

If your property and/or property manager was wonderful, they would love to hear it.
