Offering an idyllic escape for snowbirds, friends, or the whole family, this home features dock access and picture-ideal water vistas. (The boat lift is inaccessible, but you can tie off a boat to the side or front.) While you watch the passing boaters as they head out to sea, gather around the firepit on the patio. Continue to savor the radiant North Carolina weather while exploring Circle Regional Beach, Fort Macon State Park, and the North Carolina Aquarium at Pine Knoll Shores.

Get the best rental home value:

  • Summertime is high season in Atlantic Beach. Booking your vacation home in Spring or Fall is our best tip for saving money on your rental home. Rental rates are lower, and you'll find a better selection of desirable properties. Many vacationers use this method to reserve larger homes, or to reserve an oceanfront rental that would otherwise be unaffordable during the Summer months.
  • Book your rental as early as possible. Rental schedules usually open 12 months in advance (or in September just after Summer ends). Many families book their Summer rental homes during holiday gatherings. Reserve before these holidays for best selection.
  • Active Duty and veterans of the US Armed forces may be qualified for special discounts. Be sure to ask your prospective property owner whether your vacationing group qualifies for a price reduction.
  • Property management companies usually offer their guests an option to obtain vacation insurance protection. Trip insurance, which normally will cost between 1% - 5% of the base booking price, offers visitors reimbursement of costs for any days missed as a result of medical-related issues or weather, as well as ensuing additional hurricane evacuation costs, such as an unanticipated hotel overnight or additional gasoline expenses. Trip insurance can be a a welcome relief if the unforeseen happens. Ask your host for more information.

  • Protect the property owner (and your things!) by keeping the rental locked up when you are away, just like you would back home.
  • Re-check every room of the rental property to make sure that you've packed all belongings at departure. Check bathrooms, garages, and back yards for hidden items. Clean the refrigerator and take any leftovers home.
  • Inspect the property one final time and keep an eye out for damage. We suggest walking through with the property manager whenever possible. If the manager isn't available, ensure that you take video of the property to record its condition at check-out.
