Speaking of the off-season, don't overlook the holidays for a New Bern vacation! Who wouldn't love a holiday vacation on the coast? Thanksgiving and Christmas are great times to gather with family and friends at the beach.
- The sooner your group can reserve a home, the better your selection will be. The most desirable rental properties are booked early. Reserving your vacation home up to 12 months before your travel dates is recommended. Holidays such as Christmas and Thanksgiving are excellent times to plan and book your rental property.
- Some hosts offer discounts for veterans and active duty military. Ask your property manager if special discounts are available for your group.
- Property management companies frequently offer guests an option to purchase vacation insurance protection. Trip insurance, which generally costs 1% - 5% of the booking price, offers visitors reimbursement of costs for missed trip time as a result of medical-related issues or weather, as well as evacuation costs, such as an unexpected hotel or additional gas expenses. Trip insurance is definitely a life-saver if the unforeseen occurs. Ask your property manager for details.
- Many rental management companies supply New Bern area visitor guide magazines which include coupons, either offered directly by local businesses, or through a relationship with the management company and the business itself.
