The bathrooms are spa-like and inviting, with elegant tilework and glassed-in showers for the generously sized bedrooms. You will never want to leave!
Having time to take in the salty sea breezes, listen to the seagulls, and watch the waves roll in is a significant part of the joy of a coastal hideaway vacation.

Tricks and tips to get the very best vacation rental experience:
Get the best rental home value:
- Summertime is the most expensive season in the New Bern area. Book your New Bern vacation home in Fall or Spring to get the benefit of beautiful weather while saving money and avoiding crowded roads, restaurants, and activities. Speaking of the off-season, don't overlook the holidays for a New Bern vacation! Who wouldn't love a holiday vacation near the ocean? Thanksgiving, Christmas, and New Years are great times to gather with friends and family at your favorite beach.
- In the New Bern area, The sooner your group can reserve a home, the better your selection will be. The best vacation rentals are booked early. Booking your vacation home up to twelve months before your vacation is recommended. Holidays such as Christmas and Thanksgiving are excellent times to plan and book your rental.
- Some hosts offer special rates for veterans and active duty military. Check with your property manager to see if special offers are available for your group before you book.
- Booking websites often offer their guests an option to add trip insurance protection. Trip insurance, which commonly will cost you anywhere between 1% - 5% of the reservation price, offers visitors reimbursement of their vacation costs for days missed as a result of medical-related emergencies or weather disasters, as well as ensuing additional evacuation costs or charges, such as an unexpected hotel overnight or extra gas expenses. Trip insurance is definitely a life-saver if the unforeseen happens. Ask your host for specifics.
- Look for your local New Bern visitors guide upon checking in. If your rental property doesn't have a copy, you can find them at local grocery stores and visitor centers. In addition to great local information, travel guide magazines contain coupons for local tours, shops, and attractions.
Filter your search:
- Choose a designated group leader, choose your dates, and choose a maximum budget.
- Determine how many beds and the bed configuration your family needs. Oceans #6- Stunning Ocean Front Condo has 4 bedrooms and 3 bathrooms.
- Precise descriptions of bedrooms and bed sizes & counts is often available on booking websites. If not, email the property manager before reserving your home. Remember that most properties list the maximum guest capacity, which frequently includes sofa beds.
- Are you visiting for a single event? Use a map search to browse nearby rentals.
- Suitable accessibility can make or ruin a vacation for those with limited mobility. .
- Some rental properties allow pets, and some don't. Acceptable types of dog or cat, size and breeds may be restricted, and added charges may apply. Ask the property management company about your furry family members before booking.
Additional considerations:
- Get the host's contact number and check in/check out procedures for your .
- To make certain that damages aren't attributed to your stay, inspect the rental for any problem areas upon your arrival. Call the rental manager immediately to relay any damages. If there is a dispute about who is responsible, having a record of concerns and contact attempts will be valuable.
- Hosts are there to help! Feel free to ask questions before, during, or after your stay.
- Respecting quiet hours and parking rules can make a stay significantly more pleasurable. Be a good neighbor. You'll increase your chance to make local friends, and resident neighbors can be an excellent resource to find the best local attractions.
- Speaking of neighbors... Ask a local! Residents can frequently help you find the best spots in town. Who better to ask where to spend a rainy day, have a great night out, or the best spots for fishing?
- Protect the owner (and your stuff!) by keeping the rental locked up when you are away, just like you would at home.
- Don't leave anything behind! Just before you drive away, take a walk through the rental to reconfirm you've collected all belongings. Re-check bathrooms, dressers, and closets for hidden belongings. Clean out the refrigerator and take any leftovers home.
- Record a video to document the condition of the property.
- Did you have a great time? Many rental management companies make it easy for travelers to provide comments. If your property and/or property management company was wonderful, they would love to hear it. If anything was inoperable and they failed to fix it reasonably, or if the vacation rental wasn't as described, you'll want to make it a point as part of your feedback.
