Constructed on a sand dune, this home affords striking expansive ocean vistas from the 2nd and 3rd floor living areas including covered decks and screened porch. Located in the gated and beautiful Lands End community, this rental offers the opportunity to savor community amenities including beach access, pool, tennis and pickleball courts. Bonnie Banks is a modern open plan home design complete with stainless steel cable railings to maximize the magnificent vistas. The home is complete with an elevator, hot tub, fire pit, private golf cart, gas grille and exterior shower. The home also provides high-speed wireless internet. This is the ideal place to relax and appreciate the best that the Crystal Coast has to offer! There are so many local attractions that can be explored while you visit, such as the North Carolina Aquarium at Pine Knoll Shores, the Fort Macon State Park in Atlantic Beach, the NC Maritime Museum, the Wild Horses of Shackleford Banks, the Cape Lookout National Seashore, and the Cape Lookout Lighthouse!

It is the responsibility of pet owners to ensure that they clean up after their family pets (i.e., picking up waste from property grounds). Should the guest fail to do so, an additional fee of $100 will be charged to the credit card on file.

Rents with two week minimum from Saturday to Saturday. No last min. bookings are allowed for this property.

Please Note: Management Company reserves the right to deny stays less than 7 nights, if the arrival date is more than 30 days out from the booking date. Stays less than 7 nights, with an arrival date between mid-April to mid-October, are stringently prohibited unless approved by management.

Located in Emerald Isle, this vacation home is by the ocean. Emerald Forest Golf and Bogue Inlet Fishing Pier are worth checking out if an activity is on the agenda, while those in the mood for shopping can visit Emerald Plantation and Salty Air Open Market. When to book a New Bern rental & When to go:

  • In the New Bern area, The earlier you can book, the better your selection will be. The most desirable vacation homes are booked early. Reserving your rental six - twelve months before your vacation is recommended. Christmas, Thanksgiving and New Years Eve are excellent times to plan and book your vacation home.
  • Summer is the most expensive season in Emerald Isle. Booking your vacation rental in the Fall or Spring is our favorite way to save money on your vacation rental. Rates are lower, and you'll find a larger selection of suitable properties. Many vacationers use this method to find larger homes within budget, or to reserve a beach front vacation rental that would otherwise be unavailable during June, July, and August.
  • Hosts and Property managers sometimes offer discounts for veterans. Make sure to check with your host or property manager to see if special offers are available for your group.
  • Management companies and individual rental owners typically offer their guests an option to add trip insurance. Trip insurance, which normally costs between 1% - 5% of the reservation price, offers visitors reimbursement of costs for any days missed as a result of medical-related catastrophes or weather, as well as ensuing additional hurricane evacuation costs, such as an unexpected hotel overnight or extra gas expenses. Trip insurance can be a a welcome relief if the unforeseen happens. Ask the property owner for more information.

  • Be a good neighbor! You wouldn't like obnoxious vacationers bothering your home life. Employ the golden rule for best judgement. If they like you, locals might even recommend great restaurants and places you would have never otherwise known!
  • Don't forget to... Ask a local resident! Locals can usually help. Who better to ask where to get the best seafood, have a great night out, or the best spots for crabbing?
  • Re-check every room of the vacation property to make sure that you've packed everything at departure. Re-check garages, decks, and cabinets for hidden items. Clean the refrigerator and take any leftovers home.
  • Record a video to document the condition of the property.
  • Leave a review! Property owners rely on excellent ratings to inspire new bookings. They'll be much obliged for your feedback. Alternatively, if something wasn't right, other vacationing families will will be grateful for your experience find their best vacation home. Be fair with your review. If something fell short of expectations, consider whether the host could control the issue, and if so, whether they responded reasonably to solve it.
