We are located directly on the Atlantic Ocean with spectacular vistas of sunrises in the east and sunsets in the west. No Wake Zone East provides all the needed amenities plus those that only God can provide . . . again the sunrises and sunsets, the smell of the salt air, beautiful waves, soft sand, pelican fly-overs, and the bountiful and unique shells that wash up on shore.

Every time of the year is special and there is no bad day at the beach. We've adored the strong winds and powerful waves during tropical storms, the handsome hot days of summer, and the calming cool days of autumn. The mere sound of the ocean waves brings a calmness to weary travelers. It's nice to go to sleep and wake up to the steady rhythm of the Atlantic Ocean.

Finding the best Emerald Isle rental experience:

Find your best deal:

  • To book the best rental home within your budget, we suggest booking in Spring or Fall. You'll benefit from lower rates, greater selection, beautiful weather and the absence of large crowds at New Bern restaurants, tours, and activities. Many vacationers use this method to find larger homes within budget, or to reserve a beach front vacation rental that would otherwise be unaffordable during the Summer.
  • The earlier your group can reserve a home, the easier your search will be. The best rental homes are reserved early. Reserving your rental six - twelve months before your vacation is recommended. Holiday gatherings are excellent times to search for and book your rental property.
  • Some property managers offer discounts for active duty military and veterans. Remember to ask your property manager if special offers are available for your group.
  • Property managers frequently offer customers an option to buy trip insurance. Trip insurance, which normally costs 1% - 5% of the base stay price, offers visitors reimbursement of their vacation costs for any missed trip time as a result of medical-related issues or weather, as well as ensuing additional hurricane evacuation charges, such as an unexpected hotel overnight or extra gas expenses. Trip insurance is definitely a welcome relief if the unforeseen happens. Ask your host for more information.
  • Often, rental management companies supply New Bern area travel guides which include special deals, either offered directly by local businesses, or by way of a relationship between the property management company and the business itself. You can also find visitors guide and coupon books at local gas stations and shopping centers.

Planning, picking, and booking the best New Bern vacation home:

  • Choose a group leader, choose your dates, and choose a maximum budget.
  • Determine how many bedrooms and the configuration your group needs. July\/August Weeks Available Oceanfront Sanctuary-5BR 3BA -Great Island Location! has 5 bedrooms and 3 bathrooms. If you need a larger or smaller rental, use our New Bern rental home search.
  • Specific descriptions of bedrooms and bed sizes & counts is usually accessible online. If not, reach out to the property manager before you reserve the vacation property. Note that most property listings specify the maximum guest capacity, which frequently includes pull-out couches and bunk beds.
  • If there's a certain New Bern attraction you love, keep an eye out for properties that are either close by, or those that cater to your needs.
  • Proper accessibility can make or break a vacation for persons with a disability. Confirm all required amenities are available and included before reserving a rental.
  • If your group is bringing pets, you'll need to find a pet-friendly rental. Request details on breed, weight, and type restrictions. Be aware that some property managers charge pet deposits and fees.

More tips for your visit:

  • Review check in & check out procedures before leaving home. Take a printed copy, and add a note with the directions to your smartphone.
  • Note any issues with the property upon arrival, and immediately contact the owner. We especially recommend texts and e-mails, as they usually contain time stamps that can be very helpful if damages are assessed.
  • Ask questions. You may need instructions for a fireplace, intercom or thermostat. Contact your property manager. They are there to help! A brief text message prevents lots of concerns.
  • Be a good neighbor! You wouldn't like disrespectful vacationers disrupting your peace and quiet. Use the golden rule for common sense. If they like you, locals might even recommend great local food and scenic spots you would have never otherwise known!
  • Don't forget to... Ask a local! Locals can frequently point you in the right direction. Who better to ask where to launch your kayaks, have a great night out, or the best spots for crabbing?
  • Keep your rental home locked while you're away! Don't let thieves spoil your trip.
  • On check-out day, take a final walk-through to make sure you didn't forget anything. Check garages, decks, and cabinets for hidden items. Clean out the refrigerator and take any leftovers home.
  • Please make sure to walk through the rental a final time and keep an eye out for damages to contents or the property itself. We recommend inspecting the property with the host whenever possible. If the host is not available, remember to take video of the rental to record its condition at check-out.
  • Did your group have a great vacation? Many rental websites make it easy for travelers to provide feedback. If your property and/or property manager was terrific, they would love to hear it. If anything was out of order and they failed to address it in a reasonable manner, or if the vacation rental wasn't described correctly, you'll want to make it a point as part of your feedback.
