Welcome to the Flippin' Reward. This is our families personal beach home which we hope will feel like home to you as well! We have the home outfitted with everything you should need... JUST BRING CLOTHES & BATHING SUITS. We are located in the ideal location! We are steps away from the Sound and the public boat access ( there is a great park for the kids attached to the boat access). We are a 3 min. walk to the beach. PLUS we have spent the beginning of the Summer putting in our new pool! Ideal for a family pool day. The home is about a mile away from the hussel and bussel of town so you can appreciate the peaceful but close enough to run to the store if you need anything. (or have it delivered. Our Instacart shoppers are amazing on the island) We are a kid friendly home as we have 3 modest kids that adore this home as well. All of the bathrooms are newly refreshed. We hope you treat and appreciate this home as much as our family has!

Please note that our home is on a steep hill. Anyone with mobility problems please reach out so we can determine if our home is a good fit for you.

This vacation home is located in Emerald Isle. Croatan National Forest and Theodore Roosevelt Natural Area reflect the area's natural beauty and area attractions include Emerald Isle Adventures and The Sweet Spot. Flatwaters Paddling and Emerald Forest Golf are also worth visiting.

You'll enjoy lower rates, greater selection, beautiful weather and the absence of giant crowds at your favorite New Bern restaurants and activities. Many vacationers use this method to reserve larger homes, or to book an oceanfront rental that would otherwise be unavailable or unaffordable during the Summer. Speaking of the off-season, don't overlook the holidays for a New Bern vacation! Who wouldn't love a holiday near the ocean? Thanksgiving, Christmas, and New Years are great times to gather with friends and family at your favorite beach.
  • The sooner your group can reserve a home, the easier your search will be. The most desirable vacation homes are booked very early. Booking your vacation rental 6-12 months before your vacation dates is recommended. Christmas, Thanksgiving and New Years Eve are excellent times to search for and book your rental property.

  • Keep the property locked while you're out! Don't let crooks ruin your trip.
  • Don't leave anything behind! Just before departing, walk through the rental property to reconfirm you've collected all personal belongings. Re-check closets, dressers, garages, and bathrooms for hidden treasure. Clean out the refrigerator and take any leftovers home.
  • Inspect the property one final time and look for any damage. We advise inspecting the property with the property manager whenever you can. If the manager is not available, ensure that you take photos of the rental to record its condition.
  • Did you have a great time? Many rental management companies make it easy for clients to provide reviews. If your property and/or property manager was terrific, they would love to hear it. If anything was amiss and they failed to fix it within reason, or if the vacation rental wasn't as described, you'll want to make a note as part of your feedback.
