Classic Carolina Oceanfront... not many left! Finest Deal for oceanfront available!If you want to come and stay ON the beach this is for you. We are located on a great part of Emerald Isle. This bungalow was constructed in the early 1970s by a lumber mill owner with cypress lumber in and out.

Wood floor with great clean new feel without sacrificing the classic bungalow style! Arguably the best deck around. We provide all the linens, you bring your bathing suits.

This is a four bedroom, plus loft, and three full bath home. The beds are two kings, one queen, 2 doubles, and two twins. Five T.V.s. Enormous deck with rockers for countless vistas. Come play and relax. Pick your days... not just Sunday to Sunday! Want eight days... if we have it, you can rent it! It's your vacation. We are flexible with shorter stays. Send an e-mail request.

Getting the best value:

  • Summertime is high season in the New Bern area. To get the best value, consider shifting your vacation week to the Spring or Fall months. May, September, and even October offer great weather, less crowded beaches, and greatly reduced traffic. Many vacationers use this strategy to reserve larger homes, or to book a beach front rental that would otherwise be unavailable during the high season. Speaking of the off-season, don't overlook the holidays for a New Bern vacation! Who wouldn't love a holiday on the coast? Thanksgiving and Christmas are great times to gather with friends and family at your favorite beach.
  • Book your vacation rental as soon as possible. Rental schedules generally open a year in advance (or in September just after Summer ends). Many groups reserve their Summer vacation rentals during Thanksgiving, Christmas, and New Years Eve gatherings. Reserve before these holidays for best selection.
  • Hosts and Property managers sometimes offer special rates for active duty military and veterans. It's always a good idea to check with your host or property manager to see if discounts are available for your family before you book.
  • Property managers frequently offer their guests an option to buy vacation insurance.   • Don't leave anything behind! Just before you drive away, walk through the rental to reconfirm you've collected all of your things. Re-check dressers, closets, and bathrooms for hidden items. Clean out the refrigerator and take or dispose of leftovers.
  • Please make sure to walk through the property a final time and keep an eye out for damages to contents or the property itself. We recommend walking through with the property manager whenever you can (often this isn't possible). If the manager isn't available, remember to take video and pictures of the rental to record its condition at check-out.
