This one-story 3 Bedroom, 2 Bath historic and striking beach bungalow in Salter Path has everything you need for a ideal beach hideaway! With newly refreshed pine floors, an in-ground private swimming pool, tile bathrooms, a white picket fence, and extravagant decorations - it’s a cozy beauty to behold.

Historically, this bungalow was owned by the Frost Family who ran Frost Seafood House for over 35+ years - a staple in the Salter Path area that is long-since missed! Now, the bungalow is conveniently located within walking distance to attractions such as The Big Oak Drive-In & Bar-BQ, Scoops Ice Cream shop, The Crab Shack, and Anchor Drafthouse (sound front dining). You can also walk straight to the Dollar General for any necessities.

Walk into this beautiful bungalow and be amazed at the sizable inviting living room with exposed beams and comfortable couch + Daybed. This leads you to the enormous Dining table and Entirely-outfitted kitchen for all of your cooking needs.

Our Cavernous King-size bedroom is located on the right side of the home with a master bathroom & a huge shower with two separate sinks. The ideal getaway after a long day in the sun.

We also have a Queen size bedroom with a vanity & a 3rd bedroom with 3 Twins (2 Twin beds on the ground, 1 Twin bed in a bespoke Loft). 2nd Bathroom is full size with a shower and bathtub.

Adorable screened-in front porch with rocking chairs and huge back deck with a view of the private swimming pool and grille are available for use during your stay. The swimming pool area is also fenced-in with a yard for any family pets.

For beach access, the nearest public access is located only .2 miles away!

Located in Salter Path, this cottage is near the beach. Professor Hacker's Lost Treasure Golf and Raceway and Country Club of the Crystal Coast are worth checking out if an activity is on the agenda, while those wishing to experience the area's natural beauty can explore Theodore Roosevelt Natural Area and Hoop Pole Creek Nature Trail. Flatwaters Paddling and North Carolina Aquarium at Pine Knoll Shores are also worth visiting.

When to visit Atlantic Beach & When to book:

  • In the New Bern area, The earlier your group can reserve a vacation home, the better your selection will be. The most desirable rental homes are reserved early. Booking your vacation home six to twelve months before your vacation dates is recommended. Christmas, Thanksgiving and New Years Eve are excellent times to search for and reserve your rental.
  • Summer is the most expensive season along the coast of NC. Booking a rental in the Spring or Fall is a good way to save on your vacation rental. Rates are lower, and you'll find a better selection of desirable properties. Speaking of the off-season, don't overlook the holidays for a New Bern vacation! Who wouldn't love a holiday on the coast? Christmas, Thanksgiving, and New Years Eve are great times to gather with family and friends at the beach.
  • Active Duty and veterans of the US Armed forces may be qualified for special discounts. Be sure to ask your prospective property owner if your family qualifies for a price reduction.
  • Property management companies typically offer renters an option to obtain vacation insurance protection. Trip insurance, which commonly will cost you between 1% - 5% of the stay price, offers visitors reimbursement of costs for any missed time as a result of personal medical-related issues or weather, as well as evacuation costs, such as an unanticipated hotel stay or additional gasoline expenses. Trip insurance might be a a life-saver if the unforeseen happens. Ask your host for additional information.

  • Don't leave anything behind! Before departing, walk through the rental property to make sure you've collected all personal belongings. Check closets, dressers, garages, and bathrooms for hidden items. Clean the refrigerator and take or dispose of leftovers.
  • Record a video to document the condition of the property.
  • Did your group have a terrific time? Many rental home management companies make it easy for guests to provide comments. If your rental and/or property management company was great, they will likely appreciate your kind words.
