Glasshouse East is a gorgeous Oceanfront Duplex with 4 Bedrooms and 2 Baths, with Breathtaking Vistas from the living spaces and oceanfront bedrooms! In addition to the amazing vistas, this home has a Hot Tub (see item #19 below). Located in photogenic Emerald Isle, on the Southern Outer Banks of North Carolina, this vacation rental is the ideal place to spend your hard-earned vacation! Looking for more bedrooms? (1) Guests must pay in full when booking through Vacation Rental By Owner. The card included at the time of booking will be charged for the total. Guest will receive follow up communications including Management Company’s Vacation Rental Agreement for e-signature which is required for all stays.
(2) Management Company reserves the right to deny stays less than 7 nights, if the arrival date is more than 30 days out from the booking date. Stays less than 7 nights, with an arrival date between mid-April to mid-October, are stringently prohibited unless approved by management.

Sticking to a budget:

  • June, July, and August are the most expensive months in coastal NC. To get the most suitable rental within your budget, we recommend booking in the Fall or Spring. You'll benefit from lower rental rates, better selection, gorgeous weather and the absence of large crowds at local restaurants, tours, and activities. Many vacationers use this method to find larger homes within budget, or to reserve an oceanfront vacation rental that would otherwise be unavailable or unaffordable during June, July, and August.
  • The sooner your group can book a rental home, the better your selection will be. The most desirable vacation rentals are reserved very early. Booking your vacation home six - twelve months before your vacation dates is recommended. Christmas, Thanksgiving and New Years Eve are excellent times to search for and reserve your vacation home.
  • Some property managers offer discounts for veterans. It's always a good idea to check with your property manager to see if discounts are available for your family.
  • Property managers usually offer their guests an option to obtain trip insurance protection. Trip insurance, which normally costs 1% - 5% of the base booking price, offers visitors reimbursement of their vacation costs for any days missed as a result of personal medical-related issues or weather disasters, as well as evacuation costs, such as an unanticipated hotel or extra gasoline expenses.   • Lock your rental home while you are away. Protect your property!
  • Just before checking out, complete a final walk-through to confirm you didn't forget any personal items. Make sure to check bathrooms, garages, and back yards for hidden treasure. Remove everything from the refrigerator and take or dispose of leftovers.
  • Go through the rental one final time and keep an eye out for any damage. We recommend walking through with the host whenever possible. If the manager isn't available, ensure that you take photographs of the property to record its condition.
