The decks are also completely furnished, welcoming, and covered so calming outside in the shade on a elegant sunny afternoon is definitely possible! The private pool will have a completely furnished pool deck and can be heated for an additional upcharge.
The ground level of the home is where the fun happens! There is a roomy screened porch secluded by handsome island oaks where you are sure to hear the close by ocean waves. The garage offers a ping pong table, foosball, and parking for the golf cart (also for your use). House entry from this level is through the garage which makes it that much easier to get your groceries to the kitchen because the dumbwaiter access is just steps away. There is a queen guest room with a private bath as well as a bunk room with 2 twin over double bunk beds and a couple arcade games for those who may want to play well into the nighttime.
Up one level to the bedroom level. The broad Primary Suite is to the left and is complete with sitting area, soaking tub, standing shower, and deck access. The additional king guest room with a private bath is straight ahead and then another guest room with a queen bed and private bath is to the right. The laundry room with full sized washer and dryer is conveniently located just down the hall. As part of the Spinnaker’s Fresh Bed Promise all linens will be laundered between guests.
The third level is above the tree line which means vistas galore! The living room and dining room offer seating for all and the freshly refreshed kitchen is sure to accommodate the chefs of the group. There is a half bath for everybody to use just off the dining area. The guest room located on this floor is furnished with a queen bed and has access to a private, full bath.
Another nice perk is that this home is pet friendly! Bring your furry family member along. There is a $150 nonrefundable pet fee with a max. of 2 dogs allowed.
C Life is located in the community of Spinnaker’s Reach. The community pool and beach access is at the corner of Louise Howard Court and Shipwreck Lane. This is roughly an 5-10 min. walk from the home or an even faster golf cart ride. Cart parking is included at the pool area.

How to book the best rental home experience:
Sticking to a budget:
- Summertime is high season in the New Bern area. To get the best value, consider changing your group's vacation to the Spring or Fall months. May, September, and even October offer excellent temperatures, , and greatly reduced traffic. Many vacationers use this strategy to find larger homes within budget, or to reserve an oceanfront rental that would otherwise be unavailable or unaffordable during the Summer months. Speaking of the off-season, don't overlook the holidays for a New Bern vacation! Who wouldn't love a holiday on the coast? Thanksgiving, Christmas, and New Years are great times to gather with family and friends at the beach.
- Reserve your vacation rental as early as possible. Rental schedules generally become available twelve months in advance (or in September just after Summer ends). Many groups book their Summer rental homes during Christmas and Thanksgiving gatherings. Book before these holidays for best selection.
- Property managers sometimes offer discounts for active duty military and veterans. It's always a good idea to check with your host or property manager to see if special discounts are available for your family before you book.
- Property managers usually offer renters an option to buy trip insurance. Trip insurance, which usually costs between 1% - 5% of the reservation price, offers visitors reimbursement of their vacation costs for missed days as a result of personal medical-related issues or weather disasters, as well as hurricane evacuation charges, such as an unanticipated hotel overnight or additional gas expenses. Trip insurance can be a a life-saver if the unforeseen occurs. Ask the property owner for more information.
- Look for your local New Bern visitors guide magazine when you check-in. If your rental property doesn't have one, you can find them at local shops and fuel stations. In addition to great local stories, travel guides have money saving offers on local tours and attractions.
Narrow your rental Search:
- First, have your family agree to date ranges and a max budget.
- Determine how many bedrooms and what type of bedroom configuration your family requires. Large, Pet Friendly, Private Pool, Golf Cart,Easy Beach Access has 6 bedrooms and 5 bathrooms.
- Precise descriptions of bedrooms and bed sizes & counts is almost always accessible on booking pages. If not, call the host before reserving the vacation home. Remember that most property listings specify the maximum guest capacity, which often includes sofa beds in living rooms. You will need to work out what configuration is suitable for your vacation.
- If there's an individual New Bern attraction you long to visit, search for rentals that are either near by, or those that cater to your needs.
- Suitable accessibility can make or break a vacation for the less-mobile. .
- If your group is bringing pets, you will need a rental that allows animals. Get details on breed, size, and type requirements. Often, property owners charge additional pet fees.
More considerations:
- Review arrival and departure procedures before leaving home. Take a printed copy, and save the directions to your smartphone.
- Record any issues with the rental upon arrival, and immediately e-mail them to the host. We especially recommend texts and e-mails, as they usually contain built-in time stamps that are helpful if damages are attributed to your stay.
- Property managers are there to help! Don't be shy to ask any questions before, during, or after your stay.
- Respecting quiet hours and parking rules can make a stay more pleasurable. You will magnify your chance to make some new local friends, and resident neighbors can be a great source for finding the best local attractions.
- Speaking of neighbors... Ask a local resident! Locals can typically help you find exactly what you're looking for. Who better to ask where to grab the best tacos, have a great night out, or the best spots for fishing?
- Protect the property owner (and your things!) by locking the rental while you are out, just like you would at home.
- Don't leave anything behind! Just before you drive away, walk through the property to confirm you've collected all belongings. Remember to check bathrooms, garages, and back yards for hidden items. Remove everything from the refrigerator and take or dispose of leftovers.
- Go through the property a final time and scan for any damage. We advise inspecting the property with the property manager whenever possible. If the property manager isn't available, take video and pictures of the property to record its condition.
- Leave feedback! Hosts rely on excellent ratings to drive future bookings. They'll be much obliged for your feedback. Alternatively, if something went wrong, other vacationing families will appreciate that you share your feedback and help them have the best future vacation. Remember to be objective. If something fell short of expectations, consider whether the host could control the issue, and if so, whether they responded quickly to solve it.
