You've got 3 microwaves, 3 dishwashers, and a kitchen outfitted with all the extras – we're talking ice cream maker, waffle iron, 3 Keurig K-Duo coffee makers, 2 wine/drink fridges, a refrigerator drawer, 2 toaster ovens, 2 slow cookers, and a snazzy Vitamix blender. Culinary adventures, anyone?

When it’s time to relax, we’ve got you covered with an Audio-Visual Entertainment system throughout the home and outside on the decks. So, you can set the ideal beachy mood, whether you’re indoors or soaking up the sun outside.

And if you're in the mood for a movie nighttime, there's a home theater system to keep you entertained. Gamers, rejoice! There's an Xbox Series S and a PlayStation 4 ready for action. Plus, we've got a library for those who prefer a enchanting read and a wet bar for mixing up your favorite drinks. To make sure you have plenty of ice for your iced beverage of choice, a commercial ice maker is included in the garage.

When it's time to sizzle some steaks, you'll find not one but two gas grilles ready to sizzle up a storm. And dining options? Take your pick from many indoor and outdoor seating areas. Appreciate the sea breeze on furnished and covered decks or take refuge in the gazebo. Savor laying by the pool, which can be heated for an additional $725/week + tax. The landscaping is pro-level, and we're pet-friendly with LVP floor throughout.

Tricks and tips to get the perfect New Bern vacation property experience:

Getting the most from your rental home budget:

  • Summertime is high season in the New Bern area. To find the best value, consider changing your vacation dates to the Spring or Fall seasons. May, September, and even October offer great temperatures, less crowded beaches, and greatly reduced traffic. Many vacationers use this strategy to find larger homes within budget, or to reserve a beach front vacation rental that would otherwise be unavailable or unaffordable during June, July, and August.
  • Reserve your vacation rental as early as possible. Rental schedules generally open twelve months in advance (or in September just after the Summer season ends). Many families reserve their Summer rental homes during Christmas and Thanksgiving gatherings. Book before these holidays for best selection.
  • Some property managers offer discounts for veterans. It's always a good idea to check with your host or property manager to see if discounts are available for your family.
  • Booking websites typically offer their guests an option to obtain vacation insurance protection. Trip insurance, which generally costs between 1% - 5% of the base booking price, offers visitors reimbursement of their vacation costs for any missed time as a result of medical-related issues or weather disasters, as well as ensuing additional hurricane evacuation costs, such as an unanticipated hotel or extra fuel expenses. Trip insurance might be a a welcome relief if the unforeseen occurs. Ask your property manager for specifics.
  • Many management companies supply New Bern area visitors guides that include coupons, either offered independently by local businesses, or by way of a relationship with the rental management company and the business itself. You can also find New Bern visitors guide and coupon books at local gas stations and shopping centers.

Choosing and booking a perfectrental home:

  • Select a designated group leader, select your vacation dates, and select a spending budget.
  • Determine how many bedrooms and what type of bedroom configuration you need. Bill Fish, Oceanfront House in Emerald Isle, NC! has 10 bedrooms and 11 bathrooms. If you need a larger or smaller rental, use our New Bern vacation rental search.
  • Specific details about bedrooms and bed sizes & counts is almost always available online. Otherwise, email the host before reserving your home. Remember that most properties list the max. guest capacity, which frequently includes pull out couches in living rooms. You'll need to determine what configuration is best for your trip.
  • Are you visiting for a specific event or attraction? Try a map search to locate nearby properties.
  • Appropriate accessibility can make or break a vacation for persons with a disability. Confirm all required amenities are available before reserving a rental.
  • Some rental properties allow pets, and others do not. Acceptable types of pet, size and breeds may be restricted, and added costs may apply. Ask the host about pets before booking.

More tips for your stay:

  • Be sure you get the owner's contact number and check in/check out procedures for your rental.
  • Upon arrival, make note of any damages to the rental property and immediately alert the host. Keep records of all coorespondence.
  • Hosts are great sources of help! Don't be shy to ask any questions during your stay.
  • Respecting late-night quiet hours and parking regulations can make a stay significantly more pleasurable. Be a good neighbor. You will increase your chance to make some new local friends, and resident neighbors can be a fantastic resource to find the best local scenic spots.
  • Speaking of neighbors... Ask a local! Locals can usually help you find exactly what you're looking for. Who better to ask where to grab the best tacos, have a great night out, or the best spots for fine dining?
  • Keep the property locked while you're out! Don't let burglars spoil your family vacation.
  • Re-check every room of the vacation property to make sure that you've packed all personal items at departure. Re-check dressers, closets, and bathrooms for hidden belongings. Remove everything from the refrigerator and take any leftovers home.
  • Record a video to document the condition of the property.
  • Remember to leave feedback! Property managers rely on good reviews to inspire more bookings. They'll be much obliged for your feedback. Alternatively, if something wasn't right, other families will be thankful you shared your experience find their best rental home. Remember to be objective. If something fell short of expectations, consider whether the property manager had any control over the issue, and if so, whether they responded reasonably to remedy it.
