When to visit & When to reserve a Atlantic Beach rental home:

  • Summer time is high season in Atlantic Beach. To get the best value, consider shifting your group's vacation to the Spring or Fall shoulder seasons. May, September, and October offer warm temperatures, less crowded beaches, and reduced traffic. Many vacationers use this strategy to reserve larger homes, or to book a beach front vacation rental that would otherwise be unavailable during the Summer months. Speaking of the off-season, don't overlook the holidays for a New Bern vacation! Who wouldn't love a holiday on the coast?   • In the New Bern area, The earlier your group can book a vacation home, the easier your search will be. The best properties are reserved very early. Booking your vacation home 6-12 months before your vacation dates is recommended. Holiday gatherings are excellent times to plan and book your rental.

  • Please make sure to walk through the property a final time and scan for damages to contents or the property itself. We suggest walking through with the host whenever possible. If the host isn't available, remember to take photos and video of the rental to record its condition at check-out.
