Both bedrooms include full closets and are steps away from a shared full bathroom.

The primary bedroom and living room both open onto the balcony. The kitchen is separated from the living room and dining area by a bar in a Great Room design, and the appliances are new stainless steel and include a washer and dryer.

Tips to get the best vacation home experience:

Cost saving strategies:

  • June, July, and August are high season in Beaufort. Book your New Bern rental property in Fall or Spring to enjoy gorgeous weather while saving money and avoiding crowds.
  • The earlier your group can book a vacation home, the easier your search will be. The best rental homes are reserved very early. Booking your rental home six - twelve months before your vacation is recommended. Holidays such as Christmas and Thanksgiving are excellent times to search for and reserve your rental home.
  • Owners sometimes offer special rates for veterans and active duty military. Check with your property manager to see if special discounts are available for your family.
  • Property managers often offer renters an option to purchase vacation insurance. Trip insurance, which normally will cost you 1% - 5% of the base booking price, offers visitors reimbursement of their vacation costs for any missed trip time as a result of personal medical-related catastrophes or weather, as well as hurricane evacuation costs or charges, such as an unanticipated hotel stay or extra gas expenses. Trip insurance is definitely a welcome relief if the unforeseen happens. Ask your property manager for specifics.
  • Find a copy of your local New Bern visitors guide upon checking in. If your rental property doesn't have one, you can find them at local shops and visitor centers. In addition to great information, travel guides contain discounts for local accommodations and attractions.

Planning and choosing your prefect New Bern rental home:

  • Begin by choosing your a vacation week and a max budget.
  • Note the number bedrooms and what type of bedroom configuration your group needs. Islands and Inlets - the best views on the Crystal Coast! has 3 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms. If you need a larger or smaller rental, use our vacation rental search.
  • Precise information regarding bedrooms and bed types is commonly accessible on booking pages. If not, contact the property management company before reserving the vacation home. Remember that most properties list maximum guest capacity, which frequently includes pull out couches in living rooms.
  • If there's a particular New Bern destination you are crazy about, keep an eye out for properties that are either nearby, or those that cater especially to your desires.
  • Proper accessibility can make or break a vacation for the less-mobile. .
  • Some properties allow pets, but others do not. Allowable types of family pet, size and breeds may be restricted, and additional charges may apply. Ask the property manager about allowable pet guidelines before booking.

Considerations for your stay:

  • Get the property manager's contact number and check in/check out procedures for your rental.
  • Document any issues with the property during check in, and immediately e-mail them to the host. We especially recommend texts and e-mails, as they usually contain time stamps that can be valuable if there is a dispute.
  • Ask questions. You may need instructions for a fireplace, intercom or washer/dryer. Contact your owner. They are there to help! A brief telephone call can prevent many issues.
  • Be a good neighbor. Often, nearby homes are occupied by permanent residents. Respecting late-night quiet hours and parking rules can make a stay significantly more pleasurable.
  • Speaking of neighbors... Ask a local resident! Locals can usually help. Who better to ask where to get the best seafood, have a great night out, or the best spots for shopping?
  • Keep your rental home locked while you're away! Don't let burglars spoil your family vacation.
  • Don't leave anything behind! Before departing, take a walk through the property to make sure you've collected everything. Check garages, decks, and cabinets for hidden items. Remove everything from the refrigerator and take any leftovers home.
  • Record a video to document the condition of the property.
  • Leave feedback! Property managers rely on great feedback to compel future reservations. They'll be much obliged for your feedback. Alternatively, if something went awry, other vacationers will be thankful you shared your experience and help them have the best future vacation. Remember to be objective. If something fell short of expectations, consider whether the host could control the issue, and if so, whether they responded reasonably to solve it.
