Sticking to a budget:

• The sooner your group can book, the better your selection will be. The best vacation rentals are reserved early. Reserving your rental home 6-12 months before your travel dates is recommended. Winter holidays are excellent times to search for and book your vacation home.

Know before you go:

• Take a copy of the owner's phone number and entry/exit procedures for your rental.
• Hosts are great sources of help! Feel free to ask any questions during your stay.
• Lock your rental home while you're out and about. Protect the owner's property and your things!
• Record any damages to the rental during check in, and immediately e-mail them to the property manager. We specifically recommend texts and e-mails, as they usually contain time stamps that can be valuable if a dispute arises.
• Respecting quiet hours and parking policies can make a stay significantly more pleasurable. You'll magnify your chance to make some new local friends, and resident neighbors are a terrific source for finding the best local attractions.
• Don't forget to... Ask a local resident! Locals can frequently point you in the right direction. Who better to ask where to find the best bike paths, have a great night on the town, or the best spots for shopping?
