Spectacular vistas of the ocean from the additional-enormous decks with plenty of comfortable porch furnishings for sunbathing. Located directly across from a beach walkway - you'll be on the soft sand in moments! Come home for lunch and eat on the covered decks while still appreciating the ocean sights and sounds. Shared 28' x 14' swimming pool. All rooms - living areas and bedrooms - in Summer Breeze have a view toward the ocean. Dishwasher, washer/dryer (shared), Intelligent TVs throughout for streaming, wireless Internet access. Hot/cold outside showers. Ground level, shared game room with basketball and pool table leads directly to the pool deck. Weekly rental during summer months Saturday to Saturday. Three-nighttime minimum rental off-season. Available year-round. No smoking. Dogs allowed with a $200 non-returnable fee per pet (2 max., dogs only, definitely no cats). 4802 Ocean Drive. Downstairs, the East side bungalow is rented separately.

Many vacationers use this method to find larger homes within budget, or to reserve an oceanfront rental that would otherwise be unavailable or unaffordable during the Summer. Speaking of the off-season, don't overlook Winter holidays for a New Bern vacation! Who wouldn't love a holiday vacation on the coast? Christmas, Thanksgiving, and New Years Eve are great times to gather with loved ones at the beach.
  • Active Duty and veterans of the US Armed forces may be qualified for special discounts. Be sure to ask your prospective property manager whether your vacationing group qualifies for a special rate.
  • Property management companies often offer renters an option to obtain trip insurance protection. Trip insurance, which usually will cost you between 1% - 5% of the reservation price, offers visitors reimbursement of costs for any missed vacation time as a result of medical-related emergencies or weather, as well as ensuing additional hurricane evacuation costs, such as an unexpected hotel stay or additional gasoline expenses.   • Note any issues with the property upon arrival, and immediately e-mail them to the property manager. We especially recommend texts and e-mails, as they usually contain built-in time stamps that can be useful if there is a dispute.
  • Respect your neighbors. Often times, adjacent homes are filled by local residents. Respecting quiet hours and parking rules reduces conflict and allows everyone to enjoy their day.
  • Don't forget to... Ask a local! Neighbors can often point you in the right direction. Who better to ask where to spend a rainy day, have a great night out, or the best spots for bird watching?
  • When it's time to leave, complete a walk-through to confirm you have not forget any personal items. Make sure to check dressers, closets, and bathrooms for hidden belongings. Clean the refrigerator and take any leftovers home.
  • Inspect the rental a final time and scan for any damage. We suggest inspecting the property with the property manager whenever you can (often this isn't possible). If the manager isn't available, ensure that you take pictures of the property to record its condition.
  • Did you have a excellent stay? Many vacation rental websites make it easy for travelers to provide reviews. If your property and/or property manager was great, they will likely appreciate your kind words.
