♥ IF you are booking direct, PLEASE READ. We no longer do security deposits. What we do is we charge a $50/month "management fee" which we use to buy a damage protection policy. Additionally, to reserve the unit, we require a 25% of first months rent deposit upon confirmation. The additional 75% is due the day you arrive.

New Bern Grand Marina and Northwest Creek Marina are worth checking out if an activity is on the agenda, while those wishing to experience the area's natural beauty can explore Croatan National Forest and Union Point Park.   • Respect the neighborhood. Often times, surrounding homes are filled by local residents. Respecting late-night quiet hours and parking rules can make a stay significantly more pleasurable.
  • Don't forget to... Ask a local! Local residents can frequently help. Who better to ask where to order the best nachos, have a great night on the town, or the best spots for crabbing?
  • Don't leave anything behind! Before you drive away, take a walk through the rental property to confirm you've collected everything. Remember to check garages, decks, and cabinets for hidden belongings. Remove everything from the refrigerator and take any leftovers home.
  • Inspect the rental a final time and keep an eye out for damage. We advise inspecting the property with the property manager whenever possible. If the host is not available, ensure that you take photos of the rental to record its condition at check-out.
  • Remember to leave feedback! Hosts rely on good reviews to compel more bookings. They'll be much obliged for your review. Alternatively, if something went awry, other vacationers will be thankful you shared your experience and help them have the best future vacation. Be fair with your review. If something fell short of expectations, consider whether the manager could control the issue, and if so, whether they responded expeditiously to remedy it.
