Finding the best Atlantic Beach vacation rental experience:
How to get the best rental value:
- To find the best value, try shifting your vacation week to the Spring or Fall seasons. May, September, and October offer pleasant weather, fewer crowds, and reduced traffic. Many vacationers use this method to find larger homes within budget, or to reserve an oceanfront rental that would otherwise be unavailable during the Summer months. Speaking of the off-season, don't overlook Winter holidays for a New Bern vacation! Who wouldn't love a holiday on the coast? Christmas, Thanksgiving, and New Years Eve are great times to gather with family and friends at your favorite beach.
- In the New Bern area, The earlier your group can reserve a vacation home, the better your selection will be. The best vacation homes are booked early. Booking your rental home six to twelve months before your vacation is recommended. Christmas, Thanksgiving and New Years Eve are excellent times to plan and book your rental property.
- Property management companies sometimes offer discounts or promotional rates for veterans and active duty military. Check with your property manager to see if special offers are available for your family before you book.
- Booking websites usually offer guests an option to buy trip insurance. Trip insurance, which commonly costs anywhere between 1% - 5% of the reservation price, offers visitors reimbursement of costs for missed days as a result of medical-related emergencies or weather disasters, as well as ensuing additional hurricane evacuation costs, such as an unanticipated hotel overnight or extra gas expenses. Trip insurance is definitely a welcome relief if the unforeseen occurs. Ask your property manager for additional information.
- Often, management companies supply New Bern area travel guide magazines which will include coupons, either offered independently by local businesses, or through a relationship with the management company and the business itself. You can also find visitors guide and coupon books at local gas stations and shopping centers.
