Miles of pristine beaches are within close proximity of your stay, and when you aren't by the water, check out the area's fun units and excursions like parasailing, paddleboarding, surfing, deep-sea fishing, and shelling. Also close by, discover the city's trendy boardwalk, Fort Macon State Park, and a plethora of delicious local eateries and stores.

Inside the vibrant walls of your top floor getaway, you'll find soft seating and a sizable TV in the cavernous living room, as well as a well-equipped kitchen, ideal for cooking modest snacks, or simply storing your leftovers. Sleep simple amongst the plush linens in the bedrooms and refresh your clothes in the private washer/dryer. You'll find many board games, books and beach supplies to appreciate, and you'll even find a folding office table - ideal for remote work. If you have a little one, no need to bring your own Pack n' Play, since one is supplied.

• Go through the rental one final time and scan for any damage. We advise walking through with the property manager whenever possible. If the manager isn't available, ensure that you take photographs of the rental to record its condition.

If your property and/or property manager was fantastic, they would love to hear it.
