The bedroom features a Queen size bed and a twin sleeper couch. It sleeps a max. of 2 adults & 1 kid. Kitchen has a stove,oven, microwave and refrigerator. There is one private parking space included with the Lighthouse Cottage, as well as two cruiser bicycles, a propane grille, grilling accessories, a patio with two chairs, a cooler, and two beach chairs and umbrella ! All linens are supplied. This is a NO smoker/smoking and rental. Hi-Speed WiFi internet for remote working! 1 well-behaved dog allowed - $60 pet fee.

About the Area

Located in Beaufort, this vacation home is in the city center. North Carolina Maritime Museum and Core Sound Waterfowl Museum and Heritage Center are cultural highlights, and some of the area's landmarks include Beaufort Historic Site and Core Creek Bridge. Mount Maker Charters and North Carolina Aquarium at Pine Knoll Shores are also worth visiting.

  • Don't forget to... Ask a local resident! Local residents can frequently help you find the best spots in town. Who better to ask where to charter a fishing boat, have a great night on the town, or the best spots for bird watching?
  • Protect the rental owner (and your things!) by locking the property while you are gone, just like you would back home.
  • Double-check every room of the rental property to confirm that you've packed all belongings at check-out. Make sure to check bathrooms, garages, and back yards for hidden belongings. Clean out the refrigerator and take or dispose of leftovers.
  • Walk through the property a final time and keep an eye out for any damage. We advise inspecting the property with the property manager whenever you can (often this isn't possible). If the manager isn't available, ensure that you take video of the rental to record its condition at check-out.

If your rental and/or property manager was fantastic, they would love to hear it.
