Getting the best Atlantic Beach rental experience:
When to book & When to go:
- In the New Bern area, The sooner you can book a vacation rental, the easier your search will be. The best rental homes are reserved very early. Reserving your vacation home six to twelve months before your vacation dates is recommended. Winter holidays are excellent times to search for and book your rental home.
- Summer time is high season in the New Bern area. Book your vacation in Fall or Spring months to get the benefit of gorgeous weather while saving money and avoiding crowds. Many vacationers use this method to reserve larger homes, or to reserve an oceanfront rental that would otherwise be unavailable during the Summer months. Speaking of the off-season, don't overlook the holidays for a New Bern vacation! Who wouldn't love a holiday on the coast? Thanksgiving, Christmas, and New Years are great times to gather with friends and family at the beach.
- Hosts sometimes offer discounts for veterans. Ask your host or property manager if special discounts are available for your group.
- Property management companies typically offer guests an option to purchase trip insurance. Trip insurance, which commonly will cost you between 1% - 5% of the stay price, offers visitors reimbursement of costs for any missed time as a result of personal medical-related catastrophes or weather disasters, as well as hurricane evacuation costs, such as an unanticipated hotel or extra fuel expenses. Trip insurance is definitely a life-saver if the unforeseen occurs. Ask your host for additional information.
- Find a copy of your local New Bern area magazine when you arrive at the rental property. If your rental doesn't have a copy, you can find them at local shops and fuel stations. In addition to great local articles, visitors guides contain offers and deals for nearby accommodations, tours and attractions.
How to pick the perfect rental in Atlantic Beach:
- Select a group leader, choose your vacation week, and choose a spending budget.
- Determine how many bedrooms and the bed configuration your family needs. Happy Ours- Oceanfront Home with Private Heated Pool & Elevator in Atlantic Beach, NC has 6 bedrooms and 5 bathrooms. If you need a larger or smaller rental, use our New Bern rentals search.
- Precise information about bedrooms and bed sizes & counts is often accessible on booking websites. Otherwise, call the host before booking the vacation property. Remember that most property listings specify maximum guest capacity, which oftentimes includes sofa beds in living rooms.
- Some rentals allow pets, but some do not. Acceptable types of family pet, size and breeds may be restricted, and additional fees may apply. Ask the host about pets before booking.

- Suitable accessibility can make or ruin a vacation for persons with a disability. Remember to confirm all required amenities are available and included before reserving a rental
More tips for your stay:
- Get the host's contact number and entry/exit procedures for your . We recommend storing the host's contact information in your smartphone and wallet.
- Property managers are great sources of help! Feel free to ask questions before, during, or after your stay.
- Lock your rental while you're out. Protect your property!
- To ensure that damages aren't attributed to your visit, make note of any problem areas during check in. Make contact with the host right away to report your findings. If there is a dispute about who is responsible, having the recorded concerns and contact attempts will be useful.
- Don't forget to respect your neighbors. Frequently, surrounding homes are filled by permanent residents. Respecting late-night quiet hours and parking rules is the right thing to do.
- Don't forget to... Ask a local resident! Local residents can usually point you in the right direction. Who better to ask where to find the best seashells, have a great night on the town, or the best spots for shopping?
- Don't leave anything behind! Before you drive away, walk through the rental to make sure you've collected all belongings. Check bathrooms, dressers, and closets for hidden treasure. Clean the refrigerator and take any leftovers home.
- Go through the rental one final time and keep an eye out for damage. We suggest walking through with the property manager whenever you can (often this isn't possible). If the host isn't available, take photographs of the property to record its condition.
- After your trip, leave a review! Property managers rely on excellent reviews to compel new reservations. They'll be much obliged for your feedback. Alternatively, if something wasn't right, other vacationers will appreciate that you share your experience and help them have the best future vacation. Be fair with your review. If something fell short of expectations, consider whether the manager had any control over the issue, and if so, whether they responded expeditiously to solve it.
