Revel in high-speed internet and cable TV for a calming beachside life. Parlor by the pool or relax in the sand. While the unit has NO VIEW (it's in a breezeway), the beach is just 50 steps away! Book now for a memorable oceanside escape. Make our studio condo your home away from home.

No stairs in! Located on the first floor, this unit is simple access from the parking lot.

We ask guests to pick up after themselves and straighten up prior to departure. The cleaning fee covers your linens, deep cleaning, and sanitizing for your safety.

NOTES:
We welcome nice, responsible humans of all races, ethnicities, origins, genders, orientations, and religions!

This home is in Eastern North Carolina, near the water. While we have regular pest control visits, you may still encounter a bug or two. The home is professionally cleaned between every guest and bugs just sometimes appear in this region.

You'll find your stay to be painless, with access to all that you need for a nice relaxing get away (or peaceful work space with high-speed internet). A door code will be emailed to you when you book for easy entrance on your schedule (any time after 3 pm on the day you book). Full instructions, info, and a parking pass are included in a guest book in the living room. Appreciate!

Boats, boat trailers, RVs and other similar upsized cars are not allowed at this complex.

Strategies to get the perfect vacation home experience:

Find your perfect vacation home:

  • Reserve your rental property in Fall or Spring to get the benefit of gorgeous weather while saving money and avoiding crowded roads, restaurants, and activities. Many vacationers use this method to find larger homes within budget, or to book a beach front rental that would otherwise be unavailable during the Summer.
  • The earlier you can book a rental home, the easier your search will be. The most desirable vacation rentals are reserved very early. Booking your rental property six - twelve months before your vacation is recommended. Christmas, Thanksgiving and New Years Eve are excellent times to search for and reserve your rental.
  • Some property management companies offer special rates for active duty military and veterans. Remember to ask your property manager if special offers are available for your family.
  • Management companies and individual rental owners often offer guests an option to obtain trip insurance. Trip insurance, which commonly will cost 1% - 5% of the reservation price, offers visitors reimbursement of costs for any missed trip time as a result of medical-related emergencies or weather disasters, as well as ensuing additional hurricane evacuation charges, such as an unanticipated hotel stay or extra gasoline expenses. Trip insurance is definitely a welcome relief if the unforeseen occurs. Ask your host for details.
  • Find a copy of your local New Bern visitors guide magazine when you check-in. If your rental doesn't have a copy, you can find them at local shops and visitor centers. In addition to great local information, travel guides have discounts for nearby tours, shops, and attractions.

Use filters to narrow your rental search:

  • Start by having your group commit to the best dates and a budget.
  • Decide how many beds and what type of bedroom configuration you need. Charming studio condo with wifi, pool, cable - just steps from the ocean! has 1 bedrooms and 1 bathrooms. If you need a larger or smaller rental, use our rental home search.
  • Specific information regarding bedrooms and bed counts is usually accessible on booking pages. Otherwise, call the property management company before reserving the property. Note that most properties list the maximum guest capacity, which usually includes pull out couches in living rooms.
  • If there's a specific New Bern destination you are crazy about, browse rentals that are either close by, or those that cater especially to your needs.
  • Proper accessibility amenities can make or ruin a vacation for those with limited mobility. Remember to confirm all necessary amenities are available before reserving a rental
  • Some rental properties allow pets, and some do not. Acceptable types of family pet, size and breeds may be restricted, and additional fees may apply. Ask the owner about pets before booking.

More tips for your stay:

  • Review check in & check out procedures before traveling. Take a printed copy, and save the directions to your phone.
  • To make sure no damages are attributed to your family's stay, make a record of any problem areas during check in. Get in touch with the rental manager immediately to report your findings. If there is a dispute about legal responsibility later, having a record of concerns and contact attempts will be useful.
  • Hosts are available to help! Don't be shy to ask any questions during your stay.
  • Respect the neighborhood. Often, adjacent homes are filled by permanent residents. Respecting late-night quiet hours and parking regulations can make a stay significantly more pleasurable.
  • Speaking of neighbors... Ask a local! Locals can typically help. Who better to ask where to order the best nachos, have a great night out, or the best spots for BBQ?
  • Lock your rental home while you are out. Protect the owner's property and your stuff!
  • Double-check the property to confirm that you've packed all of your family's items at check-out. Check dressers, closets, and bathrooms for hidden items. Remove everything from the refrigerator and take any leftovers home.
  • Go through the property one final time and look for damage. We advise walking through with the host whenever you can. If the property manager is not available, remember to take photos and video of the rental to record its condition.
  • Did your family have a excellent stay? Many rental managers make it easy for vacationers to provide reviews. If your property and/or property management company was terrific, they would love to hear it. If anything was amiss and they failed to correct it within reason, or if the vacation rental wasn't as described, you'll want to make a note as part of your comments.
