Atlantic Beach vacation rental booking tips and tricks:

Sticking to a spending plan:

  • Reserve your vacation home as soon as possible. Rental schedules generally open a year in advance (or in September just after Summer ends). Many families book their Summer vacations during Thanksgiving and Christmas gatherings. Book before these holidays for best selection.
  • June, July, and August are the most expensive months in coastal NC. To find the largest rental within budget, we recommend reserving in Spring or Fall. You'll enjoy lower rates, better selection, gorgeous weather and the absence of giant crowds at restaurants, beaches, and activities.
  • Active Duty and veterans of the US Armed forces may qualify for special discounts. Be sure to ask your prospective property owner or host whether your vacationing group qualifies for a price reduction or discount.
  • Booking websites typically offer guests an option to purchase trip insurance. Trip insurance, which normally costs 1% - 5% of the booking price, offers visitors reimbursement of costs for missed days as a result of personal medical-related emergencies or weather disasters, as well as ensuing additional evacuation costs or charges, such as an unexpected hotel stay or additional gasoline expenses. Trip insurance is definitely a welcome relief if the unforeseen happens. Ask your host for program terms and fees.
  • Look for your local New Bern area magazine when you check-in. If your rental doesn't have a copy, you can find them at local shops and fuel stations. In addition to great articles, visitor guide magazines contain coupons for local tours, shops, and attractions.

Planning and picking your prefectrental home:

  • Select vacation week and spending budget.
  • Determine how many bedrooms and what type of bedroom configuration you need. RARE \"DOUBLE UNIT\" BEAUTIFUL Deluxe Studio Condo just steps to the ocean! has 1 bedrooms and 1 bathrooms. If you need a larger or smaller rental, use our New Bern rental home search.
  • Precise information about bedrooms and bed types is often accessible on booking pages. Otherwise, email or call the host before you reserve your home. Remember that most listings specify maximum guest capacity, which often includes pull out couches in living rooms.
  • If your group is bringing pets, filter your search for a property that allows animals. Get details on breed, weight, and type restrictions. Be aware that some hosts charge pet deposits and fees.
  • Visiting for a single attraction? Try a map search to find nearby rentals.
  • Appropriate accessibility amenities can make or ruin a vacation for guests with disabilities. .

More tips for your visit:

  • Add the property manager's phone number to your phone. Understand and take a copy of arrival/departure procedures.
  • Ask questions. You may want instructions for a fireplace, A/V setup or WIFI setup. Contact your property manager. They are there to help! A brief telephone call prevents quite a few difficulties.
  • Lock your rental home while you are away. Keep your property safe!
  • Record any damages to the rental during check in, and immediately send them to the host. We specifically recommend e-mails and text messages, as they usually contain time stamps that are helpful if a dispute is filed.
  • Respect your neighbors. Frequently, nearby homes are filled by permanent residents. Respecting late-night noise limits and parking rules is the right thing to do.
  • Speaking of neighbors... Ask a local! Local residents can usually help. Who better to ask where to enjoy a steak with a view, have a great night on the town, or the best spots for fine dining?
  • Just before checking out, complete a final walk-through to confirm you didn't forget anything. Re-check garages, decks, and cabinets for hidden belongings. Clean out the refrigerator and take or dispose of leftovers.
  • Document the condition of the property at check-out. We recommend taking a video during your final walk-through.
  • Remember to leave feedback! Hosts rely on great ratings to drive future bookings. They'll be thankful for your review. Alternatively, if something wasn't as described, other vacationing families will be thankful you shared your experience and help them have the best future vacation. Be fair with your review. If something fell short of expectations, consider whether the manager could control the issue, and if so, whether they responded quickly to fix it.
