This traditional oceanfront bungalow is located in Atlantic Beach and offers tons of space. Ground level apartment offers 1 bedroom, 1 full bath, separate living area and kitchen. The main living area, kitchen, half bath, 1 bedroom and 2 shower rooms are lovated on the 2nd level. Principal bedroom, 1 full bath, 1 half bath and 2 bedrooms are located on the top floor.

All prices are subject to a departure cleaning, linen and reservation fee, 12.75% sales tax and a $79.00 Vacation Rental Damage Protection Plan. All costs and taxes are subject to change without notice.

We rent to family groups, married couples, or mature adults over the age of 25. We do not, under any circumstances, rent to groups for proms, graduations, college home events, etc. Misrepresentation will result in immediate eviction without refund.

** TWO OPTIONS FOR DAMAGE PROTECTION **
1. Damage Protection Insurance – For an additional $79.00, this plan covers up to $3,000 in unintentional damages to the rental unit that may occur during your stay. Report the damage to us, we’ll take care of the rest!
2. Security Deposit - $1,500 is immediately charged at time of booking. If the property is left undamaged, keys & parking passes returned, your security deposit will be refunded within 45 days after check out.

About the Area

Located in Atlantic Beach, this vacation home is on the beach. Fort Macon State Park and Beaufort Historic Site are local landmarks, and some of the area's attractions include North Carolina Aquarium at Pine Knoll Shores and North Carolina Maritime Museum. Professor Hacker's Lost Treasure Golf and Raceway and Mount Maker Charters are also worth visiting. Be sure to check out the area's animals with activities such as game walks and birdwatching.

Booking the best vacation rental experience:

Sticking to a spending plan:

  • June, July, and August are the most expensive months in coastal NC. To find the largest rental home within budget, we recommend booking in Spring or Fall. You'll enjoy lower rates, better selection, beautiful weather and the absence of giant crowds at popular attractions and restaurants. Many vacationers use this strategy to find larger homes within budget, or to book an oceanfront rental that would otherwise be unaffordable during the Summer.
  • In the New Bern area, The sooner you can reserve a vacation rental, the easier your search will be. The most desirable rental properties are booked early. Booking your vacation property 6-12 months before your vacation is recommended. Holiday gatherings are excellent times to search for and reserve your vacation rental.
  • Some property managers offer rate reductions for veterans and active duty military. It's always a good idea to check with your host or property manager to see if special discounts are available for your group before you book.
  • Management companies and individual rental owners often offer renters an option to buy vacation insurance. Trip insurance, which normally will cost 1% - 5% of the base reservation price, offers visitors reimbursement of their vacation costs for any days missed as a result of personal medical-related emergencies or weather disasters, as well as hurricane evacuation charges, such as an unanticipated hotel or extra fuel expenses. Trip insurance can be a a bank account-saver if the unforeseen occurs. Ask the property owner for program terms and fees.
  • Find a copy of your local visitors guide upon checking in. If your rental property doesn't have one, you can find them at local shops and visitor centers. In addition to great local articles, visitor guide magazines contain coupons for local accommodations and attractions.

  • Select vacation week and budget.

  • Specific information about bedrooms and bed sizes & counts is generally available online. If they are not listed, email the property manager before you book the property. Remember that most listings specify the max. guest capacity, which oftentimes includes pull out couches in living rooms.
  • Visiting for a single attraction or event? Try a map search to browse nearby rentals.
  • Suitable accessibility amenities can make or break a vacation for persons with a disability. Confirm all necessary amenities are included before booking.
  • If your group is vacationing with pets, you will need a property that allows animals. Get details on breed, size, and type requirements. Note that some property managers charge pet deposits and fees.

Additional considerations:

  • Add the property manager's phone number to your smartphone. Take a copy of arrival/departure procedures.
  • At Check-in, make note of any issues with the property and immediately alert the property manager. Record all correspondence just in case a dispute arises.
  • Property managers are available to help! Feel free to ask questions during your stay.
  • Respecting quiet hours and parking restrictions can make a stay more pleasurable. Be a good neighbor. You'll increase your chance to make local friends, and resident neighbors are usually an incredible source for finding the best local attractions.
  • Speaking of neighbors... Ask a local resident! Locals can usually help you find exactly what you're looking for. Who better to ask where to see a beautiful sunrise or sunset, have a great night on the town, or the best spots for bird watching?
  • Ensure you protect the owner (and your stuff!) by locking the rental when you are gone, just like you would back home.
  • When it's time to leave, take a final walk-through to confirm you didn't forget any personal items. Check dressers, closets, and bathrooms for hidden belongings. Clean the refrigerator and take or dispose of leftovers.
  • Walk through the rental one final time and keep an eye out for damages to contents or the property itself. We advise walking through with the host whenever you can. If the property manager isn't available, remember to take pictures of the rental to record its condition at check-out.
  • After your trip, leave feedback! Property managers rely on good reviews to inspire more bookings. They'll be much obliged for your review. Alternatively, if something went wrong, other vacationers will appreciate that you share your review and help them have the best future vacation. Please be objective. If something fell short of expectations, consider whether the manager had any control over the issue, and if so, whether they responded quickly to fix it.
