About this Property

  • Private vacation home

You can lay in the bed on the third floor and see the ocean. You can savor the ocean by day and ocean breeze by nighttime and then walk to a close by restaurant.

A frequently asked question... How far from the ocean? Approximately 200 yards and your feet will be in the water. IF YOU HAVE STAYED WITH ME BEFORE, I WILL HONOR THE OLD PRICES..I have newly gone up a LITTLE because of the Insurance and taxes...

Each bedroom has its own private deck with ocean view. The master bedroom has a private hottub and the other hottub is between the two bedrooms on the third floor.

This home is very modern, and I furnish all linens. The only things you are asked to bring are your beach towels. Walk in and the home is VACATION READY. There is ample parking for boats and numerous cars. If you choose to use the neighborhood boat dock it is within three mins. driving from the home. Also, you can walk to the Sheraton pier in less than four mins.. This home is a great location, the only time you will need to get in your car is to go to the grocery (five mins. driving) and do some sightseeing.

THE HOME IS A BEAUTIFUL.

Tips to get the best New Bern vacation rental experience:

Getting the best rental home value:

  • Reserve your vacation home as soon as possible. Rental schedules usually open twelve months in advance (or in September just after Summertime ends). Many groups book their Summer rentals during Winter holiday gatherings. Book before these holidays for best selection.
  • Summertime is the most expensive season in coastal NC. Booking your New Bern vacation rental in Fall or Spring is an excellent way to save on your rental home. Rates are lower, and you'll find a better selection of suitable homes. Many vacationers use this method to find larger homes within budget, or to book a beach front rental that would otherwise be unavailable or unaffordable during the Summer months. Speaking of the off-season, don't overlook Winter holidays for a New Bern vacation! Who wouldn't love a holiday near the ocean? Christmas, Thanksgiving, and New Years Eve are great times to gather with loved ones at the beach.
  • Some property managers offer discounts for veterans and active duty military. Remember to ask your property manager if rate reductions are available for your family.
  • Property managers usually offer guests an option to add vacation insurance protection. Trip insurance, which normally costs between 1% - 5% of the stay price, offers visitors reimbursement of costs for any missed vacation time as a result of medical-related catastrophes or weather, as well as ensuing additional hurricane evacuation costs or charges, such as an unanticipated hotel or extra gas expenses. Trip insurance might be a a bank account-saver if the unforeseen happens. Ask your property manager for more information.
  • Find a copy of your local New Bern visitors guide magazine when you arrive at the rental property. If your rental home doesn't have a copy, you can find them at local shops and fuel stations. In addition to great local stories, travel guide magazines contain discounts for local tours, shops, and attractions.

Use filters to search efficiently:

  • Choose your dates and max budget.
  • Note the number bedrooms and the configuration your group requires. OCEAN VIEW - TWO JACUZZI'S - PET FRIENDLY -WLK TO NRBY REST...1014431 MINE ALS has 3 bedrooms and 3 bathrooms.
  • Precise information about bedrooms and bed counts & types is regularly available online. Otherwise, call the host before you reserve your rental. Note that most property listings specify the max. guest capacity, which often includes sofa beds and bunks. You will need to determine what is suitable for your vacation family.
  • Are you traveling with furry, four-legged family members? Although a number of vacation homes allow pets or animals, guidelines and costs vary per property. Type of pet, size and breeds may be limited. Remember to ask the property manager before booking, and study your agreement! Pet fees or costs applied to your agreement.
  • Does your group require specific amenities? Most rental websites include search filters with amenity lists. Filtering by amenity will allow you to quickly find the perfect rental.
  • Proper accessibility amenities can make or ruin a vacation for those with limited mobility. Confirm all required amenities are included before reserving a rental.

Have a great stay:

  • Review check in & check out procedures before leaving home. Take a printed copy, and save the instructions to your phone.
  • Ask questions. You may need instructions for a fireplace, A/V setup or kitchen appliance. Contact your owner. They are there to help! A brief text message prevents lots of concerns.
  • Lock your rental home while you are out. Protect your property!
  • Record any damages to the rental at check in, and immediately e-mail them to the host. We especially recommend e-mails and text messages, as they usually contain built-in time stamps that are valuable if a dispute arises.
  • Respect your neighbors. Often, nearby homes are filled by permanent residents. Respecting noise limits and parking regulations is the right thing to do.
  • Speaking of neighbors... Ask a local! Locals can frequently help you find exactly what you're looking for. Who better to ask where to take kids for a treat, have a great night out, or the best spots for fishing?
  • At departure, complete a final walk-through to confirm you didn't forget anything. Remember to check closets, dressers, garages, and bathrooms for hidden items. Clean the refrigerator and take or dispose of leftovers.
  • Inspect the property a final time and scan for any damage. We advise walking through with the property manager whenever you can. If the property manager isn't available, take photos and video of the property to record its condition at check-out.
  • Did you have a wonderful time? Most rental home management companies make it easy for vacationers to provide feedback. If your property and/or property manager was terrific, they would love to hear about it. If anything was out of order and they failed to fix it reasonably, or if the vacation rental wasn't as described, you'll want to make it a point as part of your feedback.
