Resort Grill, a tropically-adorned breakfast and lunch joint that’s found just off of Fort Macon Road in Atlantic Beach, is a good place for beach-goers to start their day, or for night owls to recoup after a visit to the local beach bars. For more ravenous appetites, go for the omelets – which are huge, three-egg creations that almost fall off the edges of the wide breakfast plates. Lunchtime patrons will find plenty of hearty dishes as well, including a selection of salads, soups, burgers, and “comfort sandwiches” like chicken salad, tuna salad, BLT, and a Philly cheese steak.
