5 Bedroom, 4.5 Bath in Emerald Isle's private gated community, with Ocean view and access to beach only steps away. No typical beach traffic with immediate right turn just over the bridge. This beach home is a peaceful home away from home. Charming new navy West Elm couches in main living area with new swivel chairs. Conveniences include: Work desks in Master BR and lower Loving Room, Shibumi tent and round tents, new beach chairs, 6 bicycles, bocci ball set, golf cart, sand toys - everything you need for a family vacation. Recently added brand new crib, bassinet, infant tub, white noise machine, 2 high chairs, pack-n-play, and MamaRoo Swing. Great private back yard for fast trips outside with doggies and kiddos.

Beaches are not busy. Watch the dolphins in late afternoon swimming in ocean! Weather in Fall and Spring are striking with 60s-80s temps.

Open concept living/ dining with 11- FOOT table. Seats 8-12. Additional Teak table on upper deck is ideal for dinner with Oceanview . House has 2 living rooms (1st & 2nd floor main), garage for beach storage, outdoor shower behind laundry room, additional frig in laundry. Kitchen is well equipped with all of the essentials… new Pottery Barn dishes, Keurig for coffee, new Dutch oven and stock pot, gas grille. Play tennis and pickle ball at private courts - first come first serve. Laundry room with full washer and dryer - entry off back of garage.

Recently refreshed kitchen with butcher block peninsula and white quartz counter tops. Renovated baths with elegant white quartz counters. Home has generous parking to accommodate 3 cars in main drive, with 4 additional in lower drive. ( Must share driver info ahead of stay). We have a great golf cart for your use to make trips to the beach , pool , or tennis courts more efficient. House is only 4 homes away from nearest access. Quiet and calming family neighborhood! Not a event home - security patrols regularly. Great eateries close by for takeout. Emerald Isle park for hiking, runners, and paddle boarding within 1 mile. of entry.

Linens: We order towels and linens for your stay from Island Essentials. We also offer our beach towels as a convenience - just wash beach towels and return to laundry room. If you prefer to bring your own linens and towels, we can deduct fee upon request.

HOA requires 2 week minimum. Ask us about 2nd week discount in off season only.

About the Area

Located in Emerald Isle, this vacation home is near the beach. Salty Pirate Water Park and Emerald Forest Golf are local attractions and those in the mood for shopping can visit Emerald Plantation and Salty Air Open Market. Emerald Isle Adventures and The Sweet Spot are also worth visiting.

When to visit & When to reserve a New Bern rental home:

• Book your rental as early as possible. Rental schedules often open 12 months in advance (or in September just after Summertime ends). Many groups reserve their Summer rental homes during Thanksgiving, Christmas, and New Years Eve gatherings. Book before these holidays for best selection.
• June, July, and August are the most expensive months in the New Bern area. Booking a rental in Spring or Fall is our favorite way to save money on your vacation. Rental rates are lower, and you'll find a better selection of desirable homes. Many vacationers use this method to reserve larger homes, or to reserve a beach front rental that would otherwise be unavailable or unaffordable during June, July, and August. Speaking of the off-season, don't overlook the holidays for a New Bern vacation! Who wouldn't love a holiday near the ocean? Christmas, Thanksgiving, and New Years Eve are great times to gather with friends and family at your favorite beach.
• Veterans and Active Duty Military members may be qualified for special discounts. Be sure to ask your prospective property owner if your group qualifies for a price reduction or discount.
• Management companies and individual rental owners often offer customers an option to add vacation insurance protection. Trip insurance, which normally costs between 1% - 5% of the stay price, offers visitors reimbursement of costs for any missed days as a result of medical-related emergencies or weather, as well as evacuation costs or charges, such as an unanticipated hotel stay or additional gas expenses. • Double-check the rental property to confirm that you've packed all personal items at check-out. Make sure to check bathrooms, dressers, and closets for hidden treasure. Clean the refrigerator and take any leftovers home.
• Go through the property one final time and keep an eye out for damage. We advise inspecting the property with the property manager whenever you can (often this isn't possible). If the property manager is not available, ensure that you take video and pictures of the property to record its condition.
• Did you have a great time? Most rental home management companies make it easy for guests to provide comments. If your rental property and/or property manager was wonderful, they will likely appreciate your kind words. If anything was out of order and they failed to fix it in a reasonable manner, or if the vacation rental wasn't described correctly, you'll want to make it a point as part of your comments.
