Tackle Box Tavern

Take a break from the sun, or cure a case of late-night boredom, with a stop at one of the coolest dive bars in town, the Tackle Box Tavern. Located in the heart of Atlantic Beach along The Circle, this understated little bar is just steps away from the shoreline, which makes it a great destination for Happy Hour drinks off the sand, or long nights that being and end on the beach.

Tackle Box Tavern is easy to reach for virtually all Atlantic Beach visitors, thanks to a location that’s on the edge of Atlantic Blvd. While the exterior might not look like much, the interior is spacious and fun, with fishing lures and mermaids serving as campy but coastal décor. The biggest draw at Tackle Box Tavern for summertime visitors, however, is the outdoor beach bar, which is lined with cool colors, bordered by a privacy fence, and features a floor of sand to remind patrons that they’re steps away from the oceanfront. With seasonal live entertainment and / or music, and drink specials available throughout the year, the Tackle Box Tavern is a great destination for beach-goers to wet their whistle without ever venturing too far away from the Atlantic Beach shoreline.
