Our Town Café

This small café and bakery that’s located on the corner of a shopping plaza in the heart of commercial Havelock is a slowed-down breath of fresh air for casual lunch goers. Featuring a wealth of soups, sandwiches and baked goodies of all varieties, visitors will be both charmed and happily satisfied by the slightly unique but filling fare.

The interior of Our Town Café is bright and cheerful, with lemon walls, aqua trim, and tables and chairs in bold splashes of color. This environment complements the menu, which is also filled with equally colorful and vibrant creations. New visitors will want to consult the specials board to determine what to order, as Our Town Café has an ever-rotating selection of fresh sandwiches, soups, salads and even quiche that change daily. Local favorites include the quiche of the day, the tuna salad, and the Italian Antipasto sandwich, but every day presents a new and unique flavor to sample. Above all else, save plenty of room for dessert, which can include anything from icing-topped cupcakes to rich key lime pie and coffee brownies with cream cheese frosting.

A great spot for enjoying a light lunch that’s finished with a decadent dessert, Our Town Café is a pleasant departure from the traditional sandwich shops for the lunchtime crowd.
