NEW Oceanfront Luxury home with 15 x 30 PRIVATE SALTWATER POOL and ELEVATOR. Located in the heart of Emerald Isle, Morning Watch features expansive vistas of one of the most gorgeous portions of the Crystal Coast. This freshly constructed, 5 bedrooms, 6.5 bath ocean-front property has everything that you’ll need for a luxury vacation experience. Four king beds with ensuite bathrooms and a four-person bunk room with dedicated hall bath accepts everybody their own personal space and privacy. K*K*K*K*2 Bunk beds (4 twin XLs). Separate office with an ocean view. When it is time to come together, the top level features a cavernous, completely supplied, open-concept kitchen, huge island with seating, natural stone countertops, stainless steel appliances, 2 dishwashers, 2 fridges, and pellet ice machine, and a tankless water heater! Savor the dining and living areas that extend to a roomy furnished covered porch where you can savor the breath-taking sunrises and ocean breezes. During the day, relax around the pool or the stretch of beach just beyond. The ground level interior hallway includes a full bathroom and mini refrigerator for convenient access from the pool. Other amenities include new furnishings throughout, 6 intelligent TVs, Spectrum hi-speed WIFI, 2 oceanfront porches, oceanfront primary suite with walk-in shower and stand-alone soaking tub, electric fireplace, and grille. Linens are supplied with beds made for all weekly reservations. This home rents Saturday-Saturday. No Family Animals! No Smoking!

*NOTE: There are (2) video doorbells installed. One on the bottom level entry door (carport) and one on the mid-level entry door.

About the Area

Located in Emerald Isle, this vacation home is on the beach. Emerald Isle Adventures and The Sweet Spot are local attractions and those in the mood for shopping can visit Emerald Plantation and Salty Air Open Market. Emerald Forest Golf and Salty Pirate Water Park are also worth visiting. Be sure to check out the area's animals with activities such as game walks and birdwatching.

How to get the best rental value:

  • The sooner your group can book, the easier your search will be. The best vacation rentals are reserved early. Booking your rental 6-12 months before your vacation is recommended. Christmas, Thanksgiving and New Years Eve are excellent times to search for and book your rental.
  • Booking your New Bern vacation home in the Spring or Fall is our favorite way to save money on your rental home. Rates are lower, and you'll find a better selection of suitable properties. Many vacationers use this strategy to reserve larger homes, or to book an oceanfront rental that would otherwise be unavailable or unaffordable during the Summer months.
  • Active Duty and veterans of the US Armed forces may be qualified for special discounts. Be sure to ask your prospective host if your vacationing group qualifies for a special promotion or discount.
  • Booking websites typically offer their guests an option to add trip insurance. Trip insurance, which usually will cost between 1% - 5% of the stay price, offers visitors reimbursement of costs for missed vacation time as a result of personal medical-related issues or weather, as well as evacuation costs or charges, such as an unexpected hotel overnight or extra fuel expenses. Trip insurance can be a a bank account-saver if the unforeseen occurs. Ask your host for more information.
  • Find a copy of your local New Bern visitors guide upon arrival. If your rental property doesn't have a copy, you can find them at local shops and visitor centers. In addition to great local articles, travel guides contain coupons for local restaurants, attractions, and tours.

  • Start by having your group agree to dates and a maximum budget.

  • Specific descriptions of bedrooms and bed counts & types is generally available online. If not, call the property manager before you book your rental. Remember that most property listings specify the max. guest capacity, which usually includes pull out couches in living rooms. You will need to establish what is right for your family.
  • Some rentals allow pets, but some do not. Acceptable types of pet, weight and breeds may be restricted, and additional fees may apply. Ask the property management company about pet restrictions before booking.
  • Are you looking for special amenities? Most rental websites include search filters for amenities. Use these to your advantage to find the perfect rental home.
  • Proper accessibility can make or break a vacation for the less-mobile. Remember to confirm all necessary amenities are available and included before booking

More considerations:

  • Get the host's phone number and arrival/departure procedures for your rental property.
  • Ask questions. You may need instructions for a garage door opener, television set or washer/dryer. Contact your property manager. They are there to help! A brief call prevents many problems.
  • Lock your rental while you are out and about. Protect the owner's property and your stuff!
  • Upon arrival, document any issues with the rental property and immediately contact the property manager. Keep records of all correspondence just in case a dispute arises.
  • Be a good neighbor! You wouldn't like loud visitors disrupting your peace. Use the golden rule for best judgement. If they like you, locals might even recommend great restaurants and scenic spots you would have not otherwise known about!
  • Speaking of neighbors... Ask a local! Locals can often point you in the right direction. Who better to ask where to order the best nachos, have a great night out, or the best spots for BBQ?
  • Don't leave anything behind! Just before you drive away, take a walk through the rental to reconfirm you've collected all belongings. Re-check dressers, closets, and bathrooms for hidden items. Remove everything from the refrigerator and take or dispose of leftovers.
  • Inspect the rental a final time and scan for damage. We advise walking through with the property manager whenever possible. If the manager isn't available, ensure that you take video and pictures of the rental to record its condition.
  • Did you have a terrific stay? Most rental management companies make it easy for vacationers to provide reviews. If your rental property and/or property management company was fantastic, they would love to hear it. If anything was amiss and they failed to correct it reasonably, or if the vacation rental wasn't as described, you'll want to make it a point as part of your review.
