In season units from June to August are Sunday to Sunday and require a minimum 7 nighttime stay. Off season, we generally require a 4 nighttime minimum with check-in any day of the week. If you are looking for a shorter stay, please send us a message. We may be able to accommodate you!

**Please inquire about pool heat. It is NOT supplied in the nightly rate. Some guests may choose not to utilize the pool heat and we don't want to overcharge those guests. In an effort to keep prices down, we only charge for pool heat if you want to use the pool during your fall, winter, or early spring stay. Please send us a message for information.

**Our home will be thoroughly cleaned and disinfected before each check-in. Linens, blankets, duvets etc. are cleaned and fresh for each guests.

*There is a floodlight camera facing the street and front yard for security. It does not look onto the pool or any hangout space.

*There is no fence between the home and the sea wall. This home may not be appropriate for modest kids.

You can’t help but imagine all the potential fun in this gem of a home only a short walk from the Atlantic Ocean. Inside, you step into a living room with modern updates but plenty of casual, retro coolness. A wood burning fireplace and flat-screen intelligent TV and stereo promise comfortable coastal ambiance alongside surf memorabilia and a cozy collection of furnishings that inspire relaxation. Our home has been thoughtfully designed, furnished and appointed with everything you will need to feel right at home! I want you to feel like you're staying at your home away from home!

You can dine at the live-edge table near the fireplace or step into the more casual dining area in the kitchen with four seats at the breakfast bar. The living and dining room is flanked by two sets of french doors that offer double the outdoor options and tons of natural light. The entirely equipped kitchen has an electric cooktop, convection oven, refrigerator, microwave and dishwasher; all you’ll need for casual dining for your hungry surfers. You can dine outdoors, too, in a pretty, private yard with tables and lounge space located on both levels. Follow the path to the dock for yet another spot to gather! Upstairs, you will also find two thoughtfully designed bedrooms and the freshly refreshed guest bath.

Downstairs you will find a private principle suite, laundry room, den and game table that seats 6 or more. Books and games are supplied for your enjoyment.

You will adore the privacy of the salt water pool, fire pit, covered porch and deck after a long day at the ocean! You can even watch the wildlife in the canal right from the living room! Three ocean access points are a short walk away - one with golf cart parking. The sound side location and access to Bogue Sound right from the yard make this an ideal place for your beach vacation. Bring your friends and family to the Surf Shack and savor the coastal vibe!

Just a short walk to the beach. You're about 2 and a half blocks away which is closer than some ocean side properties on the island.

We follow the cancellation policy and strongly suggest that you purchase trip insurance for your stay. We do not refund outside our cancellation policy.

Although our home has been remodeled, it is not a new home. Please use caution on the deck and sea wall. We like the quirky vibes of a classic beach bungalow. If you are looking for a brand new place, this is not for you.

Located in Emerald Isle, this vacation home is on the waterfront. Flatwaters Paddling and Emerald Isle Adventures are local attractions and those in the mood for shopping can visit Emerald Plantation and Beach Wheels Bike Rental. Traveling with kids? Consider The Sweet Spot and Emerald Forest Golf. Be sure to check out the area's animals with activities such as game walks and birdwatching.

  • Book your vacation rental as soon as possible. Rental schedules usually become available a year in advance (or in September just after Summer ends). Many families reserve their Summer rental homes during Winter holiday gatherings. Reserve before these holidays for best selection.
  • Booking your vacation home in the Fall or Spring shoulder seasons is an excellent way to save on your vacation rental. Rental rates are lower, and you'll find a better selection of suitable properties.
